The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Hi Gorsuch,
Thanks. I must have missed it. All I say about their participation is lucky, lucky, three directors, two employees and a consultant. Many wish they had this chance !! Including me.
Also worthy of note is the consistent statements made by JP and others including Alan Broome saying “as we await the anticipated receipt of over US$4 million”
Maybe I am a dreamer, but I think the money will turn up (isn’t that write JP & AB ??)
ATB to all LTHs.
Quote from Alan Broome, Chairman of Strategic Minerals, commented:
"This modest placing has been undertaken as we await the anticipated receipt of over US$4 million”
Ahhhh now I can buy 200000 at 1.58 yes 1.58 !!!!!!!!
Sorry for a few post in succession, but just wanted to let you know that I feel someone or mms are taking advantage of some selling because they may have lost a bit of confidence, but it just goes to show I think we all going to well rewarded. AIMHO
About 10 mins ago tried buying 450k shares, but would not give a price, tried several times.
I then reduced the number again and again, I managed to buy 180000 @1.50 then tried buying again 180000, it would not give me a price, so I only managed to get 70000 no higher.
Something is happening (maybe it’s all good) and someone is playing games MMS ?
DGR, yes that makes sense, and without trying to set any expectations, so none of us get disappointed, I think on that basis we are likely to see an RNS in due course. But let us all be patient. It will happen and the SP will reflect accordingly.
Hi stockdale, I know that what really matters and what will propel the SP is what dvharrison succinctly put in the post. I am with you guys on this.
I just found it interesting that since Jan 2019 SP has never been below 1.55 and it actually hit
4 x 1.55, 4 x 1.58 and 4 x 1.60. We are in a cycle where we hit 1.55 recently, it passed 1.58 and is now touching 1.60+. I did a dummy buy and it’s asking 1.6175, so it’s moving in the right direction.
The fundamentals are still there and it gave a few of us the opportunity to buy SML shares at a discounted price. It still is a good price right now !! Just my thoughts.
ATB to all LTH’s.
Fully agree, trying to put a positive spin and who knows my theory maybe right until proved wrong. Give it time. Interestingly, the RNS Number : 6667D of 27 June 2019 under Notes to Editors. On the last paragraph it reads:
In March 2019, the Company, entered into arrangements to acquire the balance of the Redmoor Tin and Tungsten project in Cornwall, UK which has now expected in the first week in July 2019. End of Quote.
dvharrison, good synopsis........and it will happen.
...so far I have been right with my theory, it did go to 1.55 and is now hovering around 1.58 (which is another crucial number). SP at 1.60 is well in sight and then is upwards and onwards. I can put timescales on my theory, but I don’t want to set expectations. Let us be patient, remember this is AIM. The current SP can only go up from here because fundamentally SML is in an excellent position. These are my researched views.
Totally agree dvharrison - 1.55 is too cheap. I hope my theory of ‘no lower’ than 1.55 comes true.
I will buy some today at 1.55
I think it will open Monday 1.55+ and during next week I feel we start to see the upwards movement.
Let us not forget the facts, although the payments of just over US$4 million, have not, as yet, been received. SML said: The client has been keeping the Company informed of procedural delays to its funding lines and continues to indicate that payment is imminent. However, despite the client's assurances, the Company considers that it is in the best interests of shareholders to prepare a claim for service on the client, which is likely to seek damages in excess of the amounts due. END of QUOTE. So it’s imminent and it will be paid - it’s a matter of time.
On Redmoor the raise of capital is to invest in our assets so we have 100% Redmoor. I don’t see as dilution, I see it as strategic to secure Redmoor. This my opinion.
These are the facts.
Well, I decided not to wait for 1.55 and bought a couple of chunks today, because I firmly believe in SML and the short, medium and long term prospects of this company. The projects are quite outstanding. SML is very well positioned.
All the best to LTHs.
I have a theory based on statistic and purely technical perspective:
I took a chart from Jan 2019 until now and the lowest sp points have been that
1.60 hit 4 times, 1.58 hit 4 times, 1.55 hit 3 times and now we are at 1.5845 according to my dummy buy) which is likely to go to 1.55 making the 4th hit. My theory is that based on SML as a whole company, it’s assets, projects, current income, etc, is such that the sp seems not to fall below these values. So i am watching carefully and perhaps taking another big chunk out of this give away sp price.
Do you think I have lost it ? Or does this make any sense to normal people ?
