Do GPB have any interest in POG now. To me it looked like they sold the debt on (probably at a discount) so they don’t have to risk manage, get involved. They waived their rights - probably to make that sale easier. I don’t think they would care too much now. I personally doubt they had any particularly nefarious plans for POG, given their size POG is a minor counterparty, so just book keeping on their part I guess.

That’s a positive outlook. At least they aren’t like Goldstone Resources, having their gold nicked :)

I don’t think it makes any sense for POG to start writing green ink letters to MPs.
What they should do is communicate what the practical implications of the coupon default have been, how they are being resolved and what plans are in place for the bond redemption in Nov.
Is there are agreement with UMMC, Nordic, etc.
I suspect if there were positive noises there, that would be beneficial. To communicate what the negations are, if any, eg debt for equity etc etc

The chat could be about prospects, what is a reasonable value, what to do. You can criticise someone for talking down a share, but at the same time, if all you do is positive spin on every misstep or mishap, then it’s two sides of the same coin.

Idk, free speech, nobody posting owns the forum. Maybe it’s good to hear something that isn’t just validation of your own opinion?

Unless riding out a general market downturn with index funds. For individual stocks, I would *always* have a *trailing* stop loss of 10-20% on any stock and never have a stock more than 3% of total portfolio.
