Spot on MHO1. If Freddie deleted his 5799 posts we wouldn't lose 1 credible bit of research. He a first class plonker that brings nothing but disrespect to the board. He really doesn't know what to do with himself. He gets in spats one day & sucks up to them the next... Hes an attention seeker.

We desperately need news. Not to raise the share price but to stop the worthless crap being posted on here. It is embarrassing reading this rubbish, even respected posters are getting dragged in now. This is still a fantastic board when there is good news. People share their knowledge, views, & debate different scenarios which are great to read & reflect on but when there is no news it really is desperate disrespectful rubbish people put on here.

Roll on the results - When SD is in the right place I'm sure he will be laying his cards out one by one that should re energise the board. Until he is in the right place he his holding all his cards close to his chest to protect the company (us) why cant people see that? why do you want him to release data that benefits others just to move the SP up for a couple of days..

I've got to say I didn't come out from last nights TH event as positive as others seem to have. There was plenty of positives but also so many uncertainties that will resolve overtime in our favour hopefully.. Shaun stated that the Newmont take over will be completed by the 13 October & he didn't foresee any issues with that progressing so that will be 1 hurdle out of the way. He also advised that himself & other board members had done good business with the Newmont board before & indicated the relationships will be stronger with Newmont.

I Didn't really feel comfortable with the cross listing & consolidation bit when he was pushed by the gent towards the front. I'm not sure UK investors will be at the heart of the company when this takes place but to be fair he did give good rationale as to why life would be easier dealing with everything in Aus. I think we need more information oh how this will work to give us confidence.

Overall I'm still confident things will come our way & that's largely down to the financial backing which seems to be open ended & comes with loads of protection for us all.

I'm not negative at all & think patience is the key, but, like so many others our patience has been tested for several years now. A complex but exiting set of circumstances & I look forward to it all unfolding. SD seems to be the man with the board & financial backing to deliver so lets see what the next 12/18 months brings.

Early stages of horse trading begins. I don't believe they would have discussed all these changes separately. Hopefully, when the web is finally untangled we will left with a great set of cards. Surely that was the purpose of SD creating such a strong BOD to use their collective power.

@redirons - Did they do the dirty on us or was it just business? At the time they didn't believe what was there was value for money so they moved on (dropped a clanger) but if that was their view at the time we couldn't of expected them to hold our hand & foster us until we left school. I'm sure we would walk away in the same position, that is business. Or, did they genuinely do a dirty on us? slightly before my GGP time. Despite the history, there will be different people in play now & we cannot chose he work with in this scenario unfortunately. However, I do believe if its in their benefit there is no reason to believe they will sabotage our progress. If they try, lets hope our BOD with all the experience & expertise we have paid for have this covered.

Hi Tom - That is very true. But, it is also hard to attract top talent into such a short contract. I'm sure there is nothing to fear. Hopefully it is due to the fact telfer will be owned by a new company by then - GGP!!

A couple of things going a round my head.
If NCM do a good job of promoting the quality of Hav will the 70% become out of our price range or as a minimum we will have to pay top dollar for It?

Is there a risk we are walking into a trap where we will be bullied to sell our 30% on the cheap with the threat of stalling production if we don't.

Hopefully we have legal protection against the second question but when you have something a giant wants you rarely get treated fairly.
