LEKOIL (AIM: LEK), the oil and gas exploration and development company with a focus on Nigeria and West Africa more generally, provides the following operational and trading update.



Highlights



• H1 2019 average production was 5,822 barrels of oil per day ("bopd"), with 2,329 bopd net to LEKOIL Nigeria, compared to 2,042 bopd for the same period in 2018

• Downtime was zero days since the beginning of the calendar year 2019

• The Joint Venture partners remain focused on Phase Two of the Otakikpo Field Development Plan



Outlook • Production rates are expected to remain steady through 2019, with H2 2019 average production expected to be circa 5,800 bopd, with 2,324 bopd net to LEKOIL Nigeria

• One lifting is scheduled from the FSO Ailsa Craig in July of circa 350,000 barrels of oil

• Plans underway, subject to finalisation of funding, for a multi-well drilling programme

Lekoil is doing nothing... at least research a bit before your pathetic trolling... currently producing 5000 barrels of oil a day!! Soon to increase to 20,000 a day now they have $184 million dollars to fund it!! At least 2 billion barrels on the next drill... who gives 184 million dollar loan... oh must be a clueless muppet like you! Totally clueless!! Move along fella!!

Agree Woodie although disappointing to see it drop... it’s just a blip imo and on the back of last rns with Baron taking a wee profit. So much more to come here. This is just the start imo... AIM is a strange exchange and doesn’t always do what you expect... with the huge funding LEK have received and the confidence the lending partner has this should be back to 20p at the very least! For it to fall back on Baron’s sell of less than 1% is just crazy. The amounts of sells today don’t warrant the drop... so basically MMs it would seem playing mind games and possibly trying to now fill a large priced order. Unfortunately that’s the way it goes and nothing we can do about it except watch. However this does scare people into panic selling. Lots of news to come here still and nothing has changed with what LEK have. I expect it to right itself by Friday... maybe a Friday RNS... they tend to go for Friday. Let’s see... gla

Well the welcoming of our new lawyer who has lots of knowledge in the merger and acquisitions area... this would be my only reasoning behind a takeover in progress... unless you think otherwise? the price fluctuation today is totally down to the rns I believe. ...due to the rns that we weren’t expecting... nothing goes up on straight line People take profit along the way and good luck to them. I have higher target on this. This will climb back again over the coming days and may even finish level today. Imo...
