There’s a lot of speculation going on here, a lot of if’s & but’s. If there was bad news to come expect it to be buried on Friday. The Good news will come next week and after. Friday afternoon will be the last chance to buy in at these levels.

August is not a good month to a positive release an RNS as it often falls on deaf ears. To get a maximum benefit you do not want to release it when most city analysts and investors are sunning themselves in Cornwall . Bide your patience until next month and all the previously mentioned gas , 16a flow rates, 38z news to come.

Those who deal T20 would be wise to take a look this week as we won’t be down here much longer.

I do not expect an RNS until September, possibly as early as next week. As the City returns to work in September after the summer break positive news will have more of an impact on the SP . More Patience required.

Mikes Devils Advocate comments are getting boring now, but we have to admit he has been nearer the mark than the rest of us hopeful optimistics, but to the point like most I have filtered Mike out because I can’t do with the negativity in my life.
As an optimist I believe time will tell, and we will reap the benefits in time. It may take some time, I don’t expect any news until the beginning of September and I am hopefully expecting the news to be good.

I think when you are looking at the longevity of a business, profit growth is good as long as it does not come at the expense of reputation and quality that were the very reason the business got to where it is today. Customers who commit to making the biggest investment of their lives want to have the confidence of after care and the fact they are buying a quality home. It’s easy for City Analysts , Accountants to demand completions but when it comes at the expense of reputation and quality then the effects can be felt long term. Thank goodness that the Management recognised this and have responded in a positive and effective way.

Just remember those II’s didn’t invest £12m just on a wing and a prayer and an over exited CEO. There will have been good reason , infact pretty much the same reason we have invested when we heard what was happening . Lots of good news yet to come, it’s not over until the fat lady sings. Keep faith.

We don’t like Friday RNS’s do we ? It’s the most obvious way to bury bad news unless it’s news worthy enough for the Sunday Business pages.

It really beggars belief how cheap this seems , BoD have been rolled out to put confidence back into the market, promises of more news to come, fully funded , making a profit so we are led to believe, a few million in the bank. What more is there to do but wait for the news. There’s no loss until you’ve sold. Hold on, the reasons we bought in have not changed.

Seems like BOD are desperate to get the SP up , vested interest and all that , I bet they can’t believe that the SP is languishing at this low price with all that’s happening and what has been achieved so far. The market is crying out for an RNS on the flow rates to see if they are improving and when they expect it to be at full flow. Unfortunately these things are extremely hard to predict because no two wells act the same or clean the same, I believe there literally is no hard & fast rule. More Patience required I am afraid but it will be worth it.

It’s too early to be planning the demise of SXX just yet. They have overcome adversity many times before, don’t underestimate CF and his team, what they have achieved over the odds has been nothing short of incredible. The show is just beginning and the mine is happening.

Chairman’s interview demonstrates how cheap the shares are at this level and how oversold they are . It is clear we have plenty of good news in the pipeline. Hold on , Patience is a Virtue.

As far as I am aware the Government offered a Guarantee but it was turned down by SXX as it viewed the deal offered by JPM as a better deal, seems they never read the small print from JPM.

My remarks were not aimed anyone in particular or to offend , it’s sometimes better to say nothing than something wrong, just get a bit tired of the derampers spouting out rubbish on this board when they clearly have no knowledge or experience of how the industry works.

There are a lot of comments on this BB that are so way off the mark it just demonstrates their lack of knowledge of the oil industry and how it works. T20 traders have to sell they usually don’t have the cash to divi up. Once they are cleared and Milton have finished selling then this will fly , I am just going to carry on topping up when I can .

I think the SP has some catching up to do after yesterday’s fallback in the afternoon and PH’s interview yesterday. I expect it to bounce back today. However this one is proving a hard one to predict often doing the opposite to what we expect with Spivey traders taking quick turns. Yesterday there was twice as many buys than sells but not reflected in the sp, only suggesting we still have an overhang from Milton. GLA

Scathing write up in the Times by Alistair Osbourne a well known critic of Sirius where he states that that there is only three weeks of cash left with very few alternative options , raising cash through junk status bonds at 13.5% stinks of desperation and destroys credibility.

How many days supply of working Capital have SXX got ? Or will it be mothballed pending further finance availability ?
