Abingdon CEO said towards the end of the presentation in the Q&A’s that he thought the future was in Antigen LFT’s , we just might have to have a little more patience.

I think Abingdon could show a quicker return than some other Covid testing companies, obviously being a strategic manufacturing partner to various test companies around the world. I am exited for the future of Abingdon and will be building my shareholding over the coming weeks and months.

It seems that Antigen LFT’s are still some way off tech transfer and it is still still work in progress. It appears that we are not as far down the line than we have been led to believe. It’s a good job testing is going to be around for a long time to come. What is becoming apparent is that Clinical testing in the lab has given excellent results, however the use of LFD’s in the field is not giving the results expected . Probably that this is the reason for the delay. I think Abingdon who have fingers in more pies might show a quicker return when it comes to Covid LFT’s . Certainly it seems Abingdon is worth a punt and looking particularly good value in the shorter term.

With this kind of buying pressure I am surprised they are managing to keep a lid on this. The only reasoning behind this is there is a big seller in the background but I feel that unlikely when the company has only recently been listed on Aim. The more likely reason the SP is being held back pending good news, not necessarily announcing anything in this afternoon’s presentation but news is coming soon and Abingdon is going to be a huge beneficiary. Whatever I think we can expect an upbeat presentation. GLA

Could potentially 80 million shares be held in nominee accounts ? Bearing in mind it is 12% of the issued share capital . Another point, with all that’s going on, why would anyone want to sell at this level ?

There are only 660 million shares in issue, it’s unlikely that 80 million (12%) will not have been issued , more likely they are held in nominee accounts.

Multiple more buys than sells, looks like a bit of sp manipulation going on before this afternoons after market close presentation. They should open up a lot stronger tomorrow, companies don’t give presentations unless the have something good to say. GLA

Today’s RNS has reignited my confidence in Avacta, I can wait until March/April. Testing is going to with us for a few years yet, particularly interesting they are now working on a second generation of tests . GLA.

SP will recover quite quickly as soon as the sellers have dried up. I am very optimistic for the the next few months, there’s a lot of good news to come yet.

With this mornings news a re rate of 6-7p is likely in the short term. This has de risked massively now and is a far cry from the position over the last couple of years, when flow rates and forecasts are released we can expect a double a digit SP, perhaps 12-14p over the next couple of months.

They would have to announce anything that would have a material impact on the share price, a test that was not reliable or not marketable would certainly have an effect on the share price, there would need an rns to that effect.

It’s very frustrating especially for LTH’s, there has to be one of two reasons for the silence, one is that we haven’t got a marketable or reliable test, but if this was the case it would have to have been announced . The more rational reason IMHO is we are restricted by a Government enforced NDA, however this can’t last for much longer as it will break the rules of the stock market and if the test was as good as we have been led to believe then the Government would be guilty of withholding this from the market on the grounds of Public Health. Therefore my conclusion is that we can expect news very soon. GLA

If they had used this technology right from the start , track & trace would have been successful, let’s hope this is part of the sovereign test form Moonshot. News is imminent.
