Back over £2 today as speculation turns to fact, combined with the Government’s commitment to testing, passports ,

Usual mid morning tree shake before tick up again and settle about back or near the opening price, it’ll be this way for a few weeks until we get the news we are waiting for. It could even drop back to £1.40 level as interest dries up for a couple of weeks. But don’t loose faith, news could still drop at anytime, so I am not selling, still a believer.

I think there could be a few of us locals on here, great to think we will all do well out of Yorkshire Companies like Abingdon and Avacta. Yorkshire’s success in recent years where people have made a lot of money, Persimmon for one, Cranswick another. GLA

There’s no smoke without fire, we are not there yet but we’re getting closer, it’s time to top up. Don’t loose faith the timing of the leak just didn’t suit someone.

Looking forward to a good week, not sure we will get an RNS today but we should get one this week. Waited so long for this I don’t mind waiting a few more weeks but if it happens this week then great, as more news is released we are on our way to £10 a share by the end of the year. GLA

Not sure we will get an RNS tomorrow but we will definitely have some clarification this week, just hoping is doesn’t put a dampener on the press leak.
I still think however that there’s something big about to happen soon. GLA

I suspect this has been a controlled leak by someone with close connections to the company and probably a shareholder.
It could be designed to prompt Boris to have to come clean about the latest generation of LFT’s by Avacta. This will in turn force Avacta to release a TU RNS on Tuesday updating the market on progress . I suspect whatever happens the SP will rise and the leak has done it’s job irrespective of an NDA which only prevents the company form press releases without permission. IMOP, GLA.

Despite wether we get official news through an RNS or not tomorrow, the rainbow chasers will be out in force tomorrow .
An RNS will put some credence behind the rise and support a sustainable rise going forward, there will be peaks and troughs in the SP , in the Medium to long term there will be a strong rise over the next twelve months.

I agree Runner Runner, but we know that Rainbow Chasers will be on to this tomorrow. Yes Official confirmation and RNS’s will put the confidence and sustainability into the SP is without doubt.

I think speculation and news will take our SP to the £3-5 range this week, not in a straight line there will be the dips as profit takers cash in but the trend will be upward from now on if all goes to plan over the next couple of months.

Monday morning SP will go to £3 - £3.50, drop back to £2.50 and rally again in the afternoon and settle somewhere around £3 based purely on speculation.
On an RNS we will go to £5 quite quickly if volumes are supplied. As news falls over the next two weeks we will possibly get towards £10 as things are going to happen very quickly from now.
Well this is what I hope will happen, I am often wrong when it comes to predictions.

I can’t believe how quiet it is on this board with the tie up with Avacta and what it will mean to Abingdon shares next week. Must be very reserved bunch of investors .

A share is suspended often if there has been a leak or speculation of a major news item before an RNS can be released, the news can be good or bad and will have a major effect on the share price. It gives the company a given amount of time to prepare an RNS and to calm markets in times of speculation and uncertainty. It can be for hours or days and sometimes weeks and occasionally a month or even months but longer periods are unusual.

Just to put the Wide Awake Club out of its misery I won £2.80 on the Euromillions , so it’s all down to Avacta next week.
Mind you the Euromillions Jackpot of £180m is still up for Tuesday.

There’s been a press leak about the Avacta test, our partners in Wetherby about being the Governments sovereign test, Abingdon and BBI mentioned. Abington shares could double or treble this week, expect a huge RNS this week.

I can’t sleep either, apparently I’ve won a prize on the Euro Millions, could be worth between £2.50 and £175m,
Now this news story which seems to have legs and could at least double or treble the SP this week, personally I think my luck lies with Avacta if I am honest . I have been and still am going through cancer treatment for 18 months and am sure my luck is about to change, but hey ho life is definitely a Rollo costa. I could do with some positivity in my life.

With the news that is expected in the next 5 weeks this is a steal at this price, the SP could double easily in the next five weeks.
