I guess not because your explanation is muddled. These are not free have to be paid for by the directors/employees at a price of 2p. They only make a profit if after 4 years they still work for the company and the price is above 3p. Real incentive!

Tygra - always a good thing when directors have a shares in the company.

I'm not sure you understand how options work - they actually have to agree to buy these at 2p in 4 years' time so it will cost them more than today's price. Additionally, they will only be able to sell them if they are above 3p. So in 4 years GL may make £400,000 - strong incentive to
a) Stay with the company and
b) Ensure the share price goes up substantially

Flow rate back to normal (beating hedge) now the new rig is assembled. As predicted by GL a few days Shut out, normal service resumed. Come on side track ;-)

Remember George negotiated 49% of the company for around 70% of the then value of the company, using a share issue was the smart move and zero loan cost. Since then, Saltfleetby has gone into production and is beating the Hedge with a single compressor. We are now the beneficiaries of all excess gas profits.

It was and is now, looking back on it, an exceptional deal for the company and shareholders. Value will out for all who hold their nerve.

As stated by George in the last interview there is £300 million pounds worth of known gas in Saltfleetby (with potential for more).

Crazy cheap MkCap of £49m!

I think this trade cuased the swing - shows how tight the trading is and on approval news will rise very quickly.

Angus successfully meeting and exceeding the Q4 hedge:

0.130 = 4.6 MMSCFD (meets the September Hedge)
0.155 = 5.5 MMSCFD (meets the 4Q Hedge)

*If Angus achieve the EXTRA 2.5 mmscfd then -
Amount : 2.5 Millions standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD of gas flow)
Equals : 2 600.00 Millions British thermal units (MMBtu/day / gas flow)

At **£2.85 per therm looking at £75,000 per day or £27 million a year.

* If Angus achieve the predicted 10.5 MMSCFD that's £54 million revenue.

I don't read the RNS the way LegalWolf does. looks like they want bigger figures in the DFS.

The figures from Reddit Trader are realistic. Even if we only get £6 million a month from Jan 23 that means a yearly revenue of £72 million. Energy production companies have a PE from 10 to 15 so Angus should be valued 10x where we are now. At least 10p. True value will come, best bet on AIM.

Really not much difference between today and yesterday. Both comfortably beat the Hedge.

DRB83 - by constantly posting you have gradually revealed your motives. Last post you admitted you are here to trade!

You never take into account other income with your low-ball share price e.g income Brockham, from the hedge (yes we are getting paid for that Gas!) or condensate. You also constantly repeat 5 year life for Saltfleetby when Angus quite clearly state 9-15 years.

Feel free to Trade away but most on here are longer term holders with a view to the bigger picture. Traders inevitably get their fingers burned or miss out on big rises.

DRB83 - 65% tax goodness me :-)

Remember Angus has plenty of capital expenditure/losses to offset against any tax.

‘Ring fence’ corporation tax (RFCT) is calculated in the same way as onshore corporation tax, but with the addition of a ‘ring fence’ and the availability of 100 per cent first-year allowances for virtually all capital expenditure. The ring fence prevents taxable profits from oil and gas extraction in the UK and the UKCS being reduced by losses from other activities. The current rate of tax on ring-fenced profits is 30 per cent.

DRB83 - Besides being negative on Angus you fail to show where I have miscalculated. I am willing to look at your calculations and accept any corrections. It's very easy to say that's wrong but you give no indication which bit or why?

I based my calculations on facts e.g from investopedia "Oil and Gas Drilling P/E Ratio — The current 10-year P/E Ratio is 11.78!

Most on here are already sitting on a good profit but are holding for the real value to emerge (George's own words). The £6 million/month is after settling the hedge and with the second compressor *end September.

I didn't include running cost as Brockham is already producing and making around £1.5 million/annum for the company and condensate production around £1 million/annum - easily covering costs.

George Lucan claims the current £60m MCAP is a fraction of @angusenergyplc true value.

He is right! The average oil and gas producer has a P/E of 10-20. Angus with a revenue of £6million*12months will make £72million. With a P/E of 10 that should mean a MkCap of £720 million or share price of 26p. Hold.
