I’m breaking all the rules with this one. Selling as much as possible to pile in here. The latest conference call-U can lead a horse and all that. I think we won’t see much selling as we rise everyone knows the end game is 10+ bags things are gonna get tight real quick. Not many selling for there 10, 20, 50%
For what it is worth these are my thoughts following today’s conference call:
Positives:
NVs really really bullish straight out of the gate ( obviously a pre planned approach)
8 Huge anomalies found
3rd party geo really excited
Majors under nda including a recent addition
Board seem wholly behind the strategy of releasing value not taking a quick buck
Negatives
felt he floundered and deflected when discussing Kalaba Jorc (4th iteration and some 8months late)
Sales of non core assests really no further along, again floundered somewhat.
Really tried to keep himself at arms length from the demonstration plant
Conclusions (IMO)
Board wholly believe mega assett (s) on their hands and seem to be keen to release maximum value.
Might not happen over night which does leave us exposed to the African risk factor.
Demonstration plant unlikely to turn a profit
Probably have to raise money soon
That’s how I read things I’d like to know what other people thought
I asked recently whether we might expect the Kalaba Jorc still and if so what timeframe;
Response as follows “yes we are working on focusing the resource to best serve the plant’s requirements in terms of feed”.
I am not sure what I make of that but doesn’t sound like there is anyone banging down the door to JV Kalaba
Nvs emailled me on 19th February ( over a month ago!!) saying “The plant is ready to go - we’ve had a challenge finding small quantities of acid which we’ve resolved, not helped by the rainy season and incredibly bad roads which become mud baths.”
I hope the recent tweet signals the start of commissioning.
