So @billfunk - is that how it works ... US buy the UK shares using the US ticker ARBKF? Once they are bought in US then they are traded over there? In my earlier post I was looking to see how I could trade ARBKF - if I have understood you then there is maybe no point especially if the prices and tightly coupled?

So in short ... we plebs (PIs) cant trade the OTC;
although according to @neddy (cheers mate) I can maybe do so on interactive brokers among others. I will check out 212 as I tend to be more hands-on and don't rely on limit orders - dangerous Iknow depending on what one trades. I assume @niftycyril its the spread that makes it expensive - i.e. prices not as good.

I have been using HL to buy ARB because IG wouldnt sell it to me for some reason (not available to - they wanted me to call them - sod that - don't want to talk to brokers!!!! Yet some of you have been able to buy it on IG ... weird!

Greetings fellow Argonauts. Just curiously wondering an please excuse my naivity as a newby here, but has anyone tired buying ARBKF. I have gone onto HL and tried to find it ... no luck; Also I have gone onto investing.com and the ticker isnt even recognised!!! Am i missing something - are pink sheets hidden to brits or something? I have already filled out my WBEN40 nin anticipation of buying over there since buying here is a bit of a interesting debacle with spreads as high as 5p ... what a joke! Interested in hearing what I may be missing as I want to give this share a much needed BUY!!!! Thanks in advance

I just bought in last week after doing some research into this stock when it was recommended to me. I'm excited by this potential. Will be diverting more cash this way once I have topsliced some of my other successes. Heres to an awesome 2021!!!

so it worth buying the share in the US then rather than buying on LSE? I'm gett more than a little irked by the apparent shenanigans - at one point the spread was 36 - 40!!!! what a joke. Like you ArgoBull and DSFLAT I'm holding onto my shares and waiting for £1!!! Til then I'll sit tight and will consider using 0% interest to make some extra dosh on some of these dips WHEN the spread becomes sensible!!!!

I suppose it’s about context ... how many shares does he have left? Does it not add liquidity as well with every sell being a buy ... or am I just being naive?

that’s a very nice xmas present for PW. Well deserved IMHO.

For my money I think it’s a clever move to do this with less than an hour trading left in the year. Will give US a chance to buy up the shares since UK appears to be slower of the mark . May close down a little more today but that ok ... looking forward to a gap up some time in the first week of jan following update and otc listing... happy new year to all Argonauts

Thanks Albert ... so effectively there should be more competition for the same number of shares right? Also will it mean that the shares we see on here will only be a portion of the shares traded overall?

As a newb can anyone explain how dual listing works - bearing in mind that there is a different ticker for US and German stocks, buys and sells over there must effectively be different i.e. different number of shares etc ... or have I got that wrong?
