The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
The appointment of a new nomad, i think, depends on the outcome of the sale of MT should the deal fall through, Civit relationship will be none, an update on WK, then back to trading. I am 100% certain a deal will be made for MT. I am only 50% sure it will be now, anyone think higher or lower then please say.
Off out to join Elenor and the other sensible posters at the jet washer club.
Hi Ian thanks for the explanation, high tech subterfuge, still feels like big brother to me though.
Then why is the mac allowed to post if that is the case, they have had plenty of time to ban him which is a shame as he talks a lot more sense than most on here.
Why have you deleted the whole thread regarding the photo of trucks at WK? I turned in at midnight nothing untoward had been said up until then, The Mac was having a little dig at spikeyj nothing much up until then, so unless some thing was said later for admin to eradicate the whole thread then i think it is a waste of time posting on here.
I think we will receive news this week, new nomad, flanks licence and update on WK, however I am not so sure a deal will be finalized on MT though I hope I am wrong. To resume trading EUA must state their relationship with citic which I presume are working for the Chinese who are known for driving a hard bargain and if first to the table probably a low offer and unacceptable to the BOD. I am not sure if the BOD would be allowed to state how much was offered but the fact they were at the table will be enough to boost the sp. If NN are to be successful they are going to have to up the anti some way or other, I am thinking a deal for MT could stretch on until December, another eight month in the scheme of finalizing a deal may not be far out. I hope I am wrong and a deal is done soon as like few on here I could sure do with the money.
or it could be 2 billion dollars which would be nearer the mark.
Free_"Alright now" for those who can remember it.
Yes 3m cancelled from the 3rd F eb, may be getting the book straight before re-opening. Hopefully.
Thanks for such a detailed reply PP, realized the 350% was wrong after posting, other than those shorting with a spread bet the traders who took profits on the last day of trading using all of their stake are the ones most likely to be negative as they are now out due to suspension, sour grapes most of them.
If an offer for MT was accepted for say 50p share after costs every one long would gain, if we are left with WK on the resumption of trading the sp would revert back to what ever is left say 2p a share, any one with a short would gain 350%, or could it not work like this?
My guesstimate today does this tweet warrant a night of passion with septic lilly?
News on flanks should be due any day now, it is now six months from application.

mines on the 26th March lets see who`s nearest presents all around either way.
Looks as if a deal of some type could arrive at the end of the month as I, okfornow, Ian and a few others have been saying even before this suspension three weeks ago. It makes you wonder though, how some on here will cope having to wait another three or four more weeks for news to arrive, a bit like yellow fever on tillys boat or like the old films where a hysterical woman gets a slap on the face, (wouldn`t get away with that now). Though I think a deal is coming I wouldn`t rule out a final deal taking to the end of the year either way we all stand to gain very handsomely.
What I said earlier would also apply to any LTH who bought in at 0.4p and bed and isa`d at say 4p any one in this position would be better off using any previous losses, or selling losses in their portfolio, before end of tax year to mitigate tax liabilities here. You can of course hope for the best but i expect the tax man may be all over this when a deal is forth coming.
All imo.
You may have missed the boat regarding a bed and isa if we come out of suspension at a much higher sp, as soon as the shares are sold to re purchase ,say the maximum £20000 worth you are liable for tax on this amount of shares less what you paid for them, as you are still under trading account tax rules until you are under the isa cover.
