For all we know the company may already have a deal in principal with BP subject to the output from the new trials.
Ghia has been telling us money isn’t as issue once a plan is clear.
Although I have suspicions that some of that money is being pushed by people with a motive of buying the company cheaply and convincing us all to accept.
Manipulating confidence is a well known strategy on chat forums.
Why do traders do it, to impact investors belief in the value of the company , the chance of success, the management of the business.
The end game to convince you to sell or not to buy at points that are advantageous to their strategy and depending on where the business is in the cycle of anticipated events.
Trying to change your position on previous statements I see Spacman
At the time you wrote the company had enough funds to last beyond 3 years you were well aware of the companies trial plans and costs.
The P2 cost you quote are obviously not the ones the company are working on as they would be unaffordable and the company has already said their trials are fully funded in their last financial statement.
Credibility is a big issue with your posts.
I guess a counterpoint you don’t like might be described as dismal. But when someone in their own words says the company can survive beyond 3 years but now suggests they could be insolvent next April. Thats not a dismal but possibly an uncomfortable reminder of their inconsistent posts.
When they quote a financial position based upon 2 x £12m trials which is more than the balance sheet of the company. You have to wonder how accurate that is given the companies fully funded trial statement.
So no it’s not a dismal it’s just pointing out factual inconsistencies.
It’s all highly amusing. One might even say tangentially amusing!
No doubt another plan will appear next week and who knows the law of averages suggests eventually one of your assumptions will be right.
Particularly the one where we run p2 trials and a BP comes up with a JV for a P3 and we all live happily ever after.
Let’s just take the last 7 days then
Last week you were telling us to put the for sale board up and let the market decide.
This week you’re telling us J&J are about to ride to the rescue.
It would be odd to sell the company now if you believe a major Pharma is about to come in because just the mention, if it were true, would dramatically alter the companies share value.
All this before we even consider your previous posts about “They’re taking it Private” or the former CFO left under a cloud.
Spacman the point is you’ve created a range of wild assumptions.
A Spac deal at up to 2bn
Sell the company now for 600m,
Sell the company now at 200m
Sell the company and let the market decide. I get the distinct feeling someone in the background to your posts would like that to be 30p.
In Nov you said the company could run beyond 3 years on current reserves but now you say we’d be insolvent in April 2025.
We’d all love to be saved but your posts lack credibility bordering on fantasy
Spacman back in November you said

Reasons to be Cheerful - Part 12 Nov 2023 13:15
“And they will consider that they have no escape now, it’s too late to stand down. That Teddy Harold character might have squeaked it, but the three-year retrospective insolvency investigation rule will enmesh the rest of them. Personally,
I believe the company could last beyond the three years on current reserves”
Now you’re quoting insolvency in a years time?
I think if my accounts advice was that inconsistent, I’d sack him !!
Going concern is absolutely key.
However your guesswork is very tangential and so far judging by your previous posts very subjective and of limited accuracy.
You estimate a P2 @12m x 2 so 24m cost. The board have already stated they can achieve these trials within the financial plans they laid out.
We do not have 24m so it’s fair to assume your estimate doesn’t match their forecast.
It’s also at odds with previous statements you’ve made where you’ve suggested the company could remain in operation for 3-4 years but now you’re suggesting insolvency next April?
“Proven track Record”
Who do we know who’s organised a multi million dollar deal with Astra
Who do we know who’s organised successful P2 COVid trials for in and outpatients.
Who do we know who’s organised a trial with the largest government body on the planet under Activ-2
Who do we know who’s organised working with a leading University and one the worlds biggest Pharma on a patient study.
WHO is this other person who guarantees every single trial will be 100% successful that we could hire!
Oh but we have Mani the expert head hunter to save us
Just wondering if out of these trials particularly around the “Viral persistence”
Are we seeing the possibility of a new patent for the treatment of a condition not previously indicated for sng001’s current applications?
I’m guessing we, or most of us, are invested here because we follow the science, realise the potential value etc.
It would seem from some posts that people didn’t realise the pitfalls or the timeframes involved in delivery / commercialisation of a drug. Particularly after the pandemic eased and funds dried up and timeframes were no longer critically urgent to governments or regulators.
It’s sad that many tried to jump on Sprinter failure losing so much, and I feel for those people.
Personally I’m with Doc83 and a number of others on this board who’ve waited patiently and will wait to the end.
It’s either going to be:
A flop
A commercial success
Stolen from underneath us.
Can’t do a lot about 1 or 3 but I’m in for number 2 to the very end !!
I’m sure a consortium would love to convince shareholders to sell now cheaply. Then continue with the companies plans which if successful would allow them to sell to BP at a large profit.
I wonder if such a consortium would place someone on a public chat forum to promote the idea to unsuspecting investors.
As everyone I assume knows how to read a thread by clicking on it to open it. I’m not sure it’s even possible to bury a thread.
As no one has seriously commented on it today. It seems less buried than almost deceased on life support.
Maybe interferon therapy could save it!
But if it makes you happy Mani keep bumping it all day long.
Personally I’m interested in why the company are trialling “viral persistence” in their P2’s and the underlying science behind it.
