Potential #MSMN Acquisition Targets Thread:

As per the placing RNS dated 16th September, the primary reason for raising more funds was to acquire further #Helium opportunities in the USA

The question is: who are the likely suitors for this @Mosmanoilandgas investment?

"The company has been actively progressing business development opportunities in the USA that fit its search criteria of proven, shallow locations with high helium concentrations with experienced operators. It has entered into a confidentiality agreement with an ASX listed experienced operator that has leased areas in the USA that fit the Company's criteria."

One of the big clues perhaps is the recent high level appointment of Tim Rynott, the Founder, CEO & Exploration Geologist who heads up Four Corners Helium, based in Colorado (also the location for MSMN's other Helium asset, the Vecta Helium Project where they have a 20% stake in 5 fully funded drills planned for this very quarter)

Could this be MSMN's new acquisition or JV partner?

Interestingly we can see from the Four Corners Helium Website (https://fourcornersheliumllc.com) MSMN is clearly mentioned:

"The strategic alliance between FCH & MSMN will accelerate the monetization of FCH’s robust helium portfolio"

The makeup of FCH's assets may well fit with MSMN CEO Andy Carrol's ethos of cost effective, high grade #Helium in the fabled four corners goldilocks zone that is perfectly positioned with heritage infrastructure to supply the Helium-hungry Arizona market with the likes of Taiwan Semiconductors (NVIDIA's foundry), Nasa & Lockheed Martin.

So, let's take a look at their Helium assets...

After seeing significant success from 0.012p to 0.078p with a turnaround play at #MSMN, I've been looking for a similar situation to buy into & I think I may have found it at @80milePLC

Introduction:

Greenland:

Dundas Titanium Project

- 100% owned by 80M subsidiary Dundas Titanium

- Recognised as the highest Grade Ilmenite project in the world with MRE (Mineral Resource Estimates) in accordance with JORC of 117 million tonnes of Ilmenite at a 6.1% average

- Hard rock grades of 11.1% from 74 bedrock samples

- This is almost double the JORC compliant estimate from 2019

- In 2020, the Company was granted the Exploitation Licence for the Dundas for 30 years by the Government of Greenland

- 80M will now aim to undertake a low cost JORC compliant exploration target, to further advance the concept

Thule Copper Project

- The Copper Belt has produced several successful high grade copper mines including the Outokumpu Copper Mine with 57mt @ 3.1% from 1908-1988

- 6 drill-ready Copper targets have been identified

- Recently Helium has been observed flowing at 10.7% at the surface, and hydrogen at 46%

- This merits further low-cost Helium/Hydrogen exploration using pre-existing drill holes

- Drilling has identified multiple extensions to this mine complex - 3.4m @ 11.5% #Copper & 3ppm Silver

- 2 large primary target areas identified

Finland:

Enonkoski

- 100% owned by 80M subsidiary FinnAust

- Nickel, #Copper, & Cobalt on large-scale belt hosting 2x historic mines

- Extensive exploration undertaken by FinnAust since 2012

- 3 high priority targets identified, 2 of which are close to Halvala Mine

- Historic drill intercepts include: 32.90m @ 4.09% Ni, 0.56% Cu, 0.17% Co and 19.70m @ 6.12% Ni, 1.94% Cu, 0.29% Co.

Other Points of Interest:

- 80M own 19% of AIM Listed Metals One #MET1 (62,500,000 shares) via the sale of 80M Subsidiary Finnaust Mining

- In December 2023 there was a major BOD change, including the appointment of a new CEO and the return of Rod McIIlrey as NED

- Major cost streamlining commenced with the team reducing in numbers from a bloated 14 to a more focussed 3

- Since their appointment the BOD have bought significant amounts of stock via 2x placings & in the open market & now have substantial "skin in the game" with 7.4% of the company between them

- Rod McIIlrey has taken 5.66% of 80M on his own having bought at 7 intervals in the last 10 months

- Recent rebrand, name change and pivot towards the #Helium and Hydrogen sector with high grades of 10.7% Helium flowing at the surface & 46% Hydrogen observed

- On initial helium findings the SP rose to 0.7p+ earlier in the year.

Conclusion:

Stock-picking a transformational recovery play is fraught with difficulty and will always garner derision from former, and even current investors, as of course one must initially find a prospect that is low on sentiment and may or may not have been the subject of poor management in the past. This was true of #MSMN when many identified it at a crossroads and bought in at 0.012p and watched it rise to 0.07p+ as it reshuffled, rebranded and pivotted toward #Helium.

I potentially see a similar story unfolding at #80M, a much-malligned stock that has experienced awful share price decimation due to poor management strategy, as well as other factors.

However, 80M appear to be going through a major transition, with a huge BOD cull, appointment of a new CEO and NED's, cost streamlining, their own diversification toward Helium and Hydrogen and a rebrand/name change.

I know, this won't immedietely shift sentiment to the positive (Investors have long memories), but it is a progressive start. As you will see from this research thread, the assets are extensive, diversified across many minerals/metals and gasses and are positioned in low-risk tier 1 European pro-mining jurisdictions, as well as being strategically located with access to the markets of North America & Europe.

The question is: Will 80M manage to pull of this turnaround and deliver value from these incredibly impressive assets? From todays MCAP of £6.6m I am hopeful.
