I agree with you that the government appear to have wasted most of the valuable time when they could have used that time to plan alternative trade deals and the logistics of dealing with Europe. IMO they did not have the team on board to do this and did not really understand the complications to do so at the time, they do not appear to be doing such a good job even now. That said I doubt very much that most did not bank on the current situation or had any idea of what was going to happen. Now we are well on the way down that road it appears that things are not as rosy as they could have been if the government took a more positive approach. Unfortunately we are where we are now and can not do anything about it and do not know if we can make some sort of deal or not. In that case I really hope we are not held over a barrel and end up with what is offered to us and we accept, now that would be disastrous.

I do agree with your comments about Brussels and will be please to see that back of them.

Finally it would be nice to see some replies form those that did vote out to see if they feel different now as I think there may be many.
