RE: Buyback....?12 Dec 2018 10:03
Sorry but I am a bit lost with some of the latest posts, will someone kindly explain the following points:-
General Meeting at 9:00 am on 28 December 2018,
1. Who are the general authority to make market purchases of the Company's ordinary shares, (the "Resolution") ?
2. The Resolution is intended to correct a typographical error in the resolution granting authority at the Annual General Meeting of the Company on 26 April 2018, which meant that the authority granted at that Meeting has expired instead of remaining available to the end of the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
3. Is this what some are talking about the Buy back ??? or is this a different subject.
Taylor Wimpey plc announces that a circular (the "Circular"), convening a General Meeting at 9:00 am on 28 December 2018, to consider a general authority to make market purchases of the Company's ordinary shares (the "Resolution"), has today been sent to shareholders. The Resolution is intended to correct a typographical error in the resolution granting authority at the Annual General Meeting of the Company on 26 April 2018, which meant that the authority granted at that Meeting has expired instead of remaining available to the end of the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
Cheers
Tom :-)
