Surely that does not matter, the capital is there now so if there was any talks about a t/o or some sort of partnership the capital now raised is there and would form part of any agreed deal, by all means correct me if I am wrong ???

Yes I agree too as this silence could well be pointing in the right direction although frustrating to say the least.

My small input suggests that if the news was not to NC's liking why are they ploughing on "full steam ahead" ? why increase drilling rigs if the core results were poor, why throw cash away if they have found nothing ? and finally why would new institutional and high net worth investors put in huge amounts of cash into something they were not sure about. They could well be in discussions of sorts but what they are I dare not suggest but I agree somethings afoot.

The other thing I note is that many are getting the gitters, cant take no more and selling out, but this IMO is pure madness at this point in time and the amount of interest arising by future investors, why sell ???

Sincerely hope we are going down the right track and will reap the benefits soon.

Welcome to the board.
I have been invested here for quite a number of happy years now and very happy with the company that I worked for over 13 years. The dividends are fantastic and yes the SP has fallen as most House builders due to Brexit and general world financial / political problems including trade wars etc.

The current SP is a great buy in price in my opinion as my average is 1.96 so this price is cheep as far as I would say. What you could do is try investing in a few then see how we get on then buy some more if you feel comfortable. This SP will get back IMO to over £2 in the future but you must do your own research prior to any investment. I am sure others will give you similar information.

Think many are a bit fed up waiting in hope for the updates. Would you believe its been 3 Months since they commenced drilling at Havieron. I don't think many thought it would be so long as some were thinking 6/8 weeks others 8/10 weeks and a few stated mid August, about time we were informed one way or the other, IMO of course.

Bamps hi, I am sticking where I am as an old one. Quite happy with additional increases, not needing cash.

Thought I would never say this but I am getting a bit fed up and frustrated watching our SP fall each day. What is it going to take to push this on rather than drip away ? Think many others feel the same way as seen by the lack of interest / post on this board lately with nothing but poor or bad news.
Oh well back to the fence.

Now that the warrants business is officially closed, thank heavens, Is there any feasible reason why the results of Havieron core results can not be released, they must be known by now so can anyone establish a good reason for the news to be held back any longer ????? Maybe another RNS later !!!!!

Paddy hi, there seems to be quite a few very knowledgeable posters on this board but what I am stuck with is this.
A few here stated that the core drilling can achieve 100m per day using one rig. So lets say max 500m per week. We are nearly in our 12th week since 22nd May when the drilling commenced. So this equates to 12 weeks at 500m = 6000m.
So if we have been using say 2 rigs that equates to 12000m. Originally we were drilling 10 x 1000m holes but we know they drilled deeper. So lets assume 10 x 1200m holes = 12000m.
If my maths are correct we should have completed all drilling by now. Lets also assume all cores have been inspected and assayed.
Would I be correct to assume that all core reports could be available for the Newcrest full year financial report this Thursday.
Something to discuss and pass the time.
