Short Track is currently showing Metro at 8.5%!!
...although the actual page of the breakdown is currently not working.
Anyone able to confirm this.
If I remember right, this is a drop in over 1%, which I consider a big win for today!!
@Theo.
P2P loans market doesn't appear to be doing well. I'm have a suspicion that that is not the part of the company Metro is really after. Someone made the point the other day that Metro has good high street presence, but their digital presence leaves a lot to be desired, for example the lack of an online loan system (for a modern bank in 2020 I find that shocking). RateSetter has a decent digital presence... Shouldn't take an extensive amount of work to merge to two somewhat together. Perhaps they're just taking on a large team to take care of the digital side of things and we are just pulling wool over our eyes by looking too much into the P2P part of the business..
...and 43 posts of mostly guff.
Too many people obsessed with Metro, there's more to life than this forum. Posting stuff on here crying/*****ing/ranting/ramping/deramping isn't going to change the share price.
It's getting harder to fish out the decent content and facts here!
Go outside and live a little ;)
Those shorts increased before the JPM RNS was released did they not?
Today was a 13.89% increase, which is a pretty good day by most standards. We are still not near where we should be, and we have to hope that tomorrow the share price doesn't slide down again. I predict a decrease in shorts tomorrow.
I have a secret theory... Will rocket to £60 a share by the end of the week following a secret RNS announcing Burger King buying Metro Bank. I will meet Eva Mendes in the local Tesco Express, it will be love at first sight and we will live happily ever after.
