Do we actually know what the new company is called yet? All anyone seems to have so far is “CCST.”

A lot of shareholders have been left seriously out of pocket and there still does not seem to be any clear explanation about what happened to the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority loan. From the outside looking in, it just feels like it disappeared.

People are obviously going to ask questions if there is talk of new credit lines or a fresh company setup while all of this is still hanging over everything. There needs to be some proper accountability because a lot of people have lost a lot of money here.

Honestly, the whole thing feels like it deserves a Panorama episode at this point.

How are they even funding this though? And what’s happening with the loan from Liverpool Council? Feels like there’s still a lot of unanswered questions. I get why people would be wary about signing new contracts when it’s mostly the same setup behind it all.

Wait what?? That’s actually insane. If they were deducting pension contributions from your wages and not paying them into the pension pot, that’s seriously messed up. I really hope the law firm gets to the bottom of it and you all get every penny back. Wishing you the best with it because that’s genuinely shocking.

I hope the local authority where the new business is opening carries out thorough due diligence before offering any loans.

I’ve heard differing accounts from former workers about workplace conditions and procedures at Surface Transforms before it closed, but I can’t verify any of them and I’m not making allegations against anyone. I’d be interested in hearing about other people’s experiences.

Avoid it like the plague, just my opinion of course !

All I’ve got left to say on the matter is that anyone who invests in this new company needs their heads testing.

Fair enough, but calling him ‘mate’ was pure sarcasm. Nothing friendly about it. And based on how things turned out, he couldn’t organise a p*ss up in a brewery, let alone run a company properly. The whole situation speaks for itself.

Seriously Kev, give it up. We know you’re trying to move on and start fresh, and you might dress it up as a new opportunity, but people aren’t going to forget what’s just happened. You told employees things were close to turning around, encouraged them to buy into the shares, and many of them are now left carrying the losses. You’re not going to convince anyone this is a clean slate when the last company ended the way it did. Let’s be honest here. People have taken the hit, you can’t just expect everything to be forgiven. I think you need to take the hint, mate.

This company is a joke, a full blown catalogue of errors from start to finish. It is hard not to think they knew they were doomed when they kept rolling out endless share offerings. Kevin Johnson needs to wake up and smell the coffee because no one with any sense is buying into this so called new company. I would bet Bundred and Maddock sold their shares the moment they left ST. Honestly, this whole mess is crying out for a Netflix documentary to expose what has really been going on.
