Presumably this alleged farming will extend the lifetime of the company but at a downside yo shareholders current value. Could someone explain to the uneducated like myself, a general summary of what we can roughly expect to happen and how long it takes yo impact the price?
Anyone up for a party, can get rooms cheap in Blackpool thesedays.
You did indeed, I voted for, foolishly drawn into the spin. Was hoping to help dmy daughter out with clearing her student loan, extend the family home and book a few nice holidays but now its like one side of my house just collapsed without any insurance. As Jim Bowen used to say on Bullseye...."That's the gamble"
Yes, oil found sounds good but absolutely crap news especially for the LTH's. Price blitzed even if does have a reasonable percentage on the drop bounce.
Without giving room to any snidey comments on what's come out today does anyone know a likely reasonable estimate on how long before we can expect to return to awaiting another 'lifechanging' RNS?
ZagEgypt, its that 'prospect' that's kept me in the near 10 years. Patience I have but its reaching the breaking point soon.
These huge multi-bag posts are getting hugely tiresome...50p, 45p, 25p.....FFS... we can't get a decent run at 4 or 5p. I'm involved here via LGO/CERP for nearly 10 years and all that's happened is my % stake has been diluted to bits and overall value smashed to bits.
50p?....I think most will jump ship if 5p appears.
Thanks for these updates, interesting to follow the progress. Could you include a satellite link to the co-ordinates as you did yesterday morning...lat & long figs don't mean anything to most of us landlubbers.
There's open letters regularly posted on literally every football club forums that don't make one iota of difference to how the actual club go about their business. Opinion, conjecture and thoughts of an individual who is not even a cog on the wheel. Let's not go overboard (pun intended) on it.
Mr Gregg, it was sitting around the 2.80 mark before a sharp rise with a couple if RNS's coming out...currently sitting at approx 2.80 on the back of stories of a legal challenge so hardly dropping like a stone.
No because perhaps that's what his highly qualified brain is looking for.
Irene Krapp - "ha ha there is always one isn't there. Toad if the IceMax sank in the middle of the Atlantic on it's way to the Bahamas you'd see that as good news too right "
Correct and you seem to be trying your hardest to be the 'one' from the posts you've thrown up over the years. I'm not one of those who shouts from the rooftops about huge gains/future prices, etc but I've been in here since LGO and committed my cash...if I lose it that's my problem and I along with presumably 90% of the others who are 'in the same boat' (see what I did there ;-) ) are Ok without you trying to work out how my mind works.
I see this s great news, major developments always bring protestors /naysayers so the fact they mention potential disaster to the region suggests there is a heck of a lot of oil under there....thanks for confirming that before the official drill gets underway.
if there is a panic wobble first thing tomorrow I'd see it as a great chance to load up because if the Stenamax sets sail, it's happening .!!
...wouldn't want to be out of this one over the last 8 years. #banter
Nice move by Leo for Leo.
As someone who has been in this company for c.10 years under LGO then CERP, it sure hasn't been 'great'. I've seen my shareholding drop in value and numbers, at one point sitting at approx 98% loss. Ive had to repeatedly (and arguably stupidly) felt compelled to throw more money at it to reduce my average price to a even a semi respectable level. Whildt I appreciate some people have had an opposite situation in the last couple of years this has been more of a nightmare than a success so fingers crossed we get a break and a chance to at least break even.
I dee Trinity have released an RNS acknowledging the manifesto pledges of both the contesting parties in the forthcoming T & T election to reduce the tax burden on oil income at $50 to $60. Can only be a good thing for our new BPC when the likely rise in price kicks in.
In these current changing days around the globe, statues getting torn down, etc not sure the Columbus name will do many favours so change timely if anything.
Cant recall exact date but back in the LGO days, all was going pretty well pricewise until a hired deep drill snapped and was declared either too costly to retrieve or simply not possible. Big costs to LGO. Since then we long term holders have seen our investments fritter away due to constant handing out of shares to changes in directors, financial loans and other such costs. To be fair, the drop in OP has been a killer but for anyone who hasnt gambled in buying more shares to reduce their average they will be in possible 95% loss zone.
What I dont undrstand is the logic behind this great move if the proposed merger is to be such a transformational winner for us all.
