East African Crude Oil Pipeline (Eacop) still planned to go live in 2025 I believe. Now estimated at 200k b/pd. The deal was around 2,5 or 3% per barrel of oil if oil price was above 70$. Needless to say the debt and 100mln annual payment is NOT ANY ISSUE!
Had an update and wasn't logged in so incidentally i saw a PATEL remark .. made me laugh out loud. thanks PATEL!
" Anton why do you think that some of the more sensible and larger shareholders no longer post on here?"
LOL
Perenco is notgiving anything to tlw! They are merely going 50/50 with tullow now on some fields. And testjes are smart because they probably know tlw can get more barrels out of the field against lower costs.
The more I read about it it does make sense for both parties.
Thanks Anton!
Seems tullow wants more equality in th er partnership of some fields to improve output and maybe have more say in turning some buttons so to speak. Not strange since tullow has quite a good operational record (we know since we always here these boring updates about 99,9 % online etc. Etc. But it works!!) it all adds up after years, just like Rahul always said.
And this swap is in line with that I think.
Here some details about kowe

Also the logistical part of the swap makes (could make) sense. By creating a hub the costs per barrel could be lowered (again in line with philosophy of rahul)
Will try and find some more about de8.
All in all very positive about the future here. Couldn’t believe we were brought down to these levels again but expect we have seen the bottom now.
Good luck all.
Ps. Ignore the special ones please.
Sorry for typos..
Maybe rahul is thinking we are running a tight ship at tullow. We can get it back up again. Then the DE8 would be a bonus. What I don’t understand is why can’t they explain this (more). Why is it a good deal for tullow , and just as important, why is it a good deal for perenco

i am also on another board where the majority is short. some are short and long. Personally i am never short (don't know how, and have some principal objections too). The positions of every board member are very clear, some have shorter names like " companyX-is going-bankrupt" etc., etc.). However, the discussions there are very well fact based and polite. (although still annoying when somebody is cheering when you just lost 20k but hey, that's the name of the game.)
it is possible.
found this this morning. can't open myself. any one els on this board?
