Most western economies are still not fully reopened. Look at stadiums at euro 2021 and it is clear. That is beside the fact that many Will overcompensate in the next year. Macro economics favour all oil companies at the moment.

what if it is not (only) the (damned) MM's keeping the Tullow price down at the moment? what if Rahul wants to keep it low and hire a broker , say GS, so Tullow can buy back shares in a controlled manner (low sp). What if the 14th Rahul says Tullow has already bought back 100 mln or 200mln, etc) back in the last month since it was okayed at the GA? i think it is a good strategy in the longrun.

Jmax the hedging is not completely clear to me. Can you explain? shouldn’t there be a period mentioned as well for hedging? An end date of Some sort? Or a number of agreed Max nr. of barrels? Just a number seems risky on tullow part. If poo Goes above 75 $ and hedging is capped at 71$, surely that partner couldnt buy all tullow output at 71$ and resell at a profit? So when talking about hedging just a price seems just half of the story. Please explain to hedging newbie.
