You say( those shares were granted at a discount to the current sp )which i presume was at the starting point 3 years prior to the selling point which as you point out is sub £1 So maybe it more the actual number of shares taken up by staff each year that is relevant

also i think a lot of staff use EQI and £20000 can go in isa

look to farm out if they haven't got the funds to do anything themselves ,Georgia look at this as a national asset

as has been said before farm out usually results in the other partner paying for the drills and sharing the profits not paying mega millions up front
