George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Afternoon All, So, do we think that the license will still be obtained in April ? Even if it is not, then there should be an update before month end, which could or should give us some progress on diamond sales and/or mine sale situation. GLA TJ Mac
Afternoon Mr Cautious,
All this need’s is for the License to be granted to KZG which enables HMS to start, further Tantalum Mine payments to be received or sale to alternative buyer, diamond sales to be advised + anything relating to AMS.
Hopefully we will have an update on all of these before the end of April as previously advised. If the news is good then there will be plenty of interest.
GLA TJ Mac
Afternoon All, my last top up at 12.29 is based purely on what DE has communicated to us all and against the indicated timelines. Either these things will happen and we move forward or we will end up treading water a some period of time. Naturally I'm feeling reasonably positive - we'll soon see. GLA TJ Mac
Hi Mr C, I don't think we will see the DFS in January although we may get a DFS update at the end of the month. EMH did say in the RNS on 22nd Dec that they would give regular updates on DFS progress. We will see, but until such times, unfortunately I expect the SP to keep dropping :-( TJ Mac
Fair comment Mr Cautious & The Basher.. I'm in a similar boat really, felt over exposed so took the hit then averaged down - got caught up in the Kennedy days unfortunately and like you say it's then difficult to average down sufficiently. Anyway that's all history so GLA for 2024. TJ Mac
HNY to everyone..... Mr Cautious, if you have confidence in this company which I assume as a shareholder you do, then why not take the opportunity to average down now! you could dramatically lower your buy average? All seems to be lined up yet again so let's hope this time it comes to fruition & it benefits us all. GLA TJ Mac
Morning all, so an updated status on the HMS progress which I suppose we all expected. Basically another 6 month wait now… we always seem to be waiting for something to really happen here and I don’t think that transformational is going to happen in 2023. Meanwhile the SP continues to drift lower giving some yet another buying opportunity. Me personally, I’m not going to keep averaging down – will just wait and see what happens in Q1 2024. Have not heard from Funkybeats - hope your ok. for a while!! Thank you Poppyseed for your informative contributions – keep the faith & carry on lol. GLA TJ Mac
Afternoon Antelope,
I don’t think we are under the radar. We just have no permits and a DFS that regularly gets put back / further delayed and VW who seem to be taking an eternity to put plans in place to secure lithium within Europe. Once at least one of these elements gets confirmed, then we may see some worthwhile progress. As for the PR company employed - could be an awful lot better, although it's down to KC to give then information / data / plans etc. GLA TJ Mac
Hi SCE2AUX,
What is a supper ship? - I think it a ship that sails in the early evening lol.
I believe that Vale have had flooding at their mine facilities which has reduced their iron ore output. The value of Iron Ore continues to rise and shipping costs continue to reduce so as far as Amapa is concerned, I would have thought that shipping will commence very soon once / if the banks approve the sales.
In the meantime - Eagerly awaiting news from Sonora (please…)
GLA TJ Mac
Hi All, Just as we appeared to be turning the corner and actually having some good news / progress to look forward to, the share is suspended – very frustrating. Hopefully, progress will continue at a good pace in the background and by the time the share is free from suspension, a decent re-rate of the SP will be forthcoming & Funkybeats will be able to get a faint taste of that beer lol…. Good luck to you all and thank you for the informative posts which are always read & appreciated. TJ Mac
Hi All, fair comment Maddog38 – I think most investors of 8 years or more would agree that the time must be fast approaching whereby this BOD actually start to deliver some return for their extremely patient investors. If we look at who has actually benefited so far, then I think the BOD have done very nicely - it is about time shareholders had their time now. Of course there is potential, that’s never been an issue – getting these projects monetized or to fruition quickly now is what we want. GLA TJ Mac
Thanks and appreciated EV Bull & Ivybush – I assume that these are answers that most shareholders will be eager to know I’m sure, as we all want progression & perhaps these will be covered in the AGM.
Thanks again and GLA TJ Mac
Morning EV,
Ok good to know, our SP certainly needs to gain some form of impetus or upward momentum soon. Hopefully everything goes our way concerning both Sonora & Amapa. In terms of Amapa, when do you think we are likely to see the MRE and PFS now that July has come & gone… Also, when do you think we are likely to see any form of Iron Ore export shipping out of Santana? GLA TJ Mac
Afternoon all, so what is holding this back – well, imo :- yes, we hold 27% of Amapa but referring this to a previous value of US $ 660m is not really accurate. That valuation was for a mine that was up and running and processing Iron Ore. There is an awful lot of expensive rehabilitation to be done on 3 fronts (mine / railway & port) before we can compare what we have now to old valuations. The forthcoming PFS will give us all a lot more detail (due in July I believe). The re-payment of the agreed bank debt will take over a year to complete and that is assuming we manage to ship out two loads per month. So, it’s going to take time & more patience, but, as the overall risk & liabilities reduce then our SP should start to rise. In addition to Amapa, we have some potentials in Sonora JV (once all the dust settles) as well as EMH (although the long awaited DFS seems to be taking an eternity) which could help boost the SP if the right information / developments where to take place. MBW – this is AIM, there are absolutely no guarantees of a ROI. If anything, you should only invest in AIM what you can or are prepared to lose. It is all well & good referring to others that projected high valuations or big ROI but that was just their own opinion/s. Ahh accountants and their spreadsheets … If you want to know when/if you will see £ 1 again, then I suggest you email KM, although I doubt he will be able to answer that either at the moment…GLA TJ Mac. Ps. May I also pass on my best wishes & good luck to Mrs B.
Afternoon all, I'm not sure that there is much news / info they could be holding back at the moment. We seem to have been waiting for this permit for an eternity - surely this will be finally issued in April and we can then progress towards decent cash flow by late Q3. Tantalum processing should be up and running now. GLA TJ Mac
Afternoon all,
Yes you need the “patience of a saint” and that’s an understatement…. I’m going to try to be positive so :-
a) We are still awaiting the mining permit – surely this must be imminent ie. within the next 4 weeks.
b) We are still awaiting actual figures regarding the diamond sales.
c) We are awaiting an update on the additional land purchase which is apparently 30+ times larger than what we currently have.
d) Tantalum processing facility was in the final stages of testing before commercial shipments of tantalum could be processed / sold & shipped.
Just need a couple of the above to be boxed off / completed & then we can start to gain some much needed momentum.
GLA TJ Mac
Morning All, well done FB, it’s not often that you see people calling it perfectly like you did. I’ll put that down to the experience that you have with this company & your positive attitude displayed since day one. I’ll be a lot happier once HMS license is finally granted and tantalum actually being produced / sold – it seems to have been a long run uphill for a while. GLA TJ Mac
