Sick Mick Trick,
Firstly yes it is entirely the CEOs accountability to ensure his listed company is not placed in a non trading cash shell due to its assets being rendered pretty much as junk due to a country’s decision ! All eggs in one basket springs to mind and also not having the funds to proceed anywhere with any extraction of hydro carbons and the Risks associated is clear ! ( last accounts £13 k cash on hand ) what type of joke is this ! That won’t even buy you a safety case process !
Are you alluding the Irish have acted unreasonably, because it very much seems to me from all I have seen that they have requested and are not satisfied with certain financial matters relating to both Landsdowne and PRD in relation to any award of further licences etc. if it’s a case of he said, she said, then it will become apparent pretty soon won’t it.
Let’s see how much appetite there is for a no win no fee case by legal entities after they are in receipt of the full facts from both parties. ! The facts I have seen is la dsdown have £13 k cash on hand and are spruiking on taking on a nation due to it not letting it go ahead with licences to drill for hydrocarbons and all the massive risks involved with that !
PRD and even Landsdowne are by no means on any high ground in this matter, as I said Landsdown have been talking about legal action against Ireland for nearly 3 years bow and they still have no party to take thier case on against Ireland !
Perhaps your mate “Steve “ can tell you how it really is , sounds like you and him are besties, I have never heard Dr Stephen Boldy being referred to as Steve like you did !
Say it again Landsdowne have less than 13k in cash on hand, ( 13k as of June 25) you are seriously deluded to think a nation will just allow its sovereign waters to be drilled in for HCs in this climate by an entity that basically has nothing to pay for anything.
Say it again, imo there won’t be a penny inbound from Ireland on this ! Absolutely scunnered as they would say in my part.
