Impossible to say for sure but I feel with the BHI MOU signed then the second major deal will be progressing at pace.

as I said yesterday though there are several news items which could drop at any time, we will definitely have an RNS of some sort before Christmas, IMO the next major deal will be done before then too.

Zaza makes it clear several times that he thinks news is "very" close whether the BHI deal was what he was referencing is yet to be seen

no, because although they "know" they are targeting the gas in the TAGI which they can see from Seismic. they wont actually know there is gas until they drill into it and its circulated to the surface. At which point it'll be too late to run a 7" liner to protect the gauge and integrity of the well.

So to not have a 7" liner set above the TAGI could cause them issues.

unless well designs have changed considerably since I worked offshore...

Weird its an "if required" in the RNS though

they'd set the liner just before they enter the reservoir, then drill on with a 6" bit (or smaller)

once they've encountered shite loads of gas a slotted production liner can be run :)
