That's is a very valid point Mole just made.

FRR are operating in a very well understood block, the issue has been with old soviet wells using too heavy a mud weight damaging the formation and poor cementing of casing/liners causing the wells to fail after a short time.

We aren't relying on seismic to select well locations (a la SOU) In terms of risk for an O&G company it is very low as they are reworking old wells that have been known to contain oil and gas. With the help of BHI they have cracked the issues in well design and engineering and proved that with the last 3 wells.

Even without a second major it would appear that FRR can carry on to exploit the assets and move into a development phase, all be it slower than with say Exxon sinking 20 wells a year.

They are obviously making money now from the wells we have on "test" as if that were not the case FRR would have gone cap in hand to the market months ago.

Zaza has also stated that if the majors hadn't requested more testing of the deliverability of these wells then FRR would have put them into production straight away (which could mean the majors are compensating FRR for lost revenue as they aren't producing at a maximum efficient rate)

I'm happy this will come good and it feels like it's not far away (in FRR time that's 6 months :) )

its a bit pointless though as we've had since 1960 when they were flowing 2000 bbl/day from one well before it blew out. and now 58 years on FRR are doing 500-600 bbl a day!, OR ARE THEY.........

Still a shorting paradise at the mo just being dropped day after day on low volume! Doing my bloody head in .... We need, court case settled, second major signed, forward plan 2019 Then and only then will we start to see an increase day on day.
