I worked on rigs west of Shetland with BHI for BP and Esso.

Pretty harsh out there, 2000ft of water to get to the seabed to even start drilling! spent most of the time waiting on weather. plus side was we got to whale watch for free :)

Imagine how much easier it is onshore in Georgia some of the cheapest extraction rates in the world!!
