Who advised the government spend £100billions on Rail link HS2, “infrastructure structure project” which saves no more the 20minutes on a journey time ?

A wiser move would have been instead to spend that amount on encouraging high-tech development, data centres and SMRs to supply the electrical power needs.

That’s where the future economic growth is gonna come from, not from saving 20minutes on a train journey.
