Well, all I can say is that I've respected Proactive and their writers/commentators up until now, but to read, what I believe, is absolute nonsense, written by Giulia Bottaro today about so called "speculation has been rife" about a takeover, has changed my view.

@ DGR1980 I'm not talking about the MRE, I'm talking about the rife takeover speculation.

Well, my informed opinion is, where has she heard, or read such, that is now apparently rife speculation for some time?!

It's in the proactive piece! Quite where Giulia Bottaro gets that from is beyond me!

Well, all I can say is that I've never heard anything such, nor have i read anything on here, or elsewhere, as being anything like rife, or even anywhere near it, in that regard, so i don't quite know where it comes from!

Around 1.1.2 hours to go today. As the sp has been subdued for the past hour or so I'd like to think that we're heading for a nice FOMO Friday rise before close, but, hey, it's AIM!

Their handling of Greatland Gold 'news' is a classic in poor timing, and, basically, crass stupidity, IMHO!

There is still some considerable time to go today, and if it's anything like we saw yesterday...

The investor meeting is the second one we've had, and is clearly opportune, due after the PFS release by Newcrest Mining.

It's all a part of being an investor in GGP. I love this type of pic.! We're all team players involved in the Havieron project, and all of our other tenements!

Like yesterday it's definitely been a two step forwards, one step back, and repeat day, so far...

Watch out for potential MM games today, over and above the usual. It's a classic time for them after the big rise yesterday. Just saying, but hopefully a sustained rise.

There are other reasons why Havieron is so vitally important to Newcrest Mining, one of which I know i keep banging on about, and have done for some considerable time now.

Just look at the mining lease issues that Newcrest are having, and which may well continue, at Wafi-Golpu in Papua New Guinea. Havieron is vital for the growth plan at Newcrest, and, unlike Wafi-Golpu, Havieron is, of course, in one of the lowest risk and safest mining jurisdictions in the world.

Did anyone notice in the Joint Venture risk assessment section of the 2020 Newcrest Report:

"....the risks normally associated with...joint ventures commitments...and particular risks associated with entities where a sovereign state holds an interest, including the extent to which the state intends to engage in project decision making..."
