I would suggest that the GGP sp after 8 am tomorrow will be almost entirely down to the PFS report & presentation from Australia (at midnight tonight here). Or did I misread your post?

Hi Jersey, a very difficult question indeed. To be fair to Alastair Ford though, he's pretty much always believed, over many months now, that Newcrest would make an offer to buy out Havieron 100%. Also, to be fair, he has also said, BUT, at what price?!

Thankfully this piece is a lot more measured than the nonsense piece from Friday.

We know that the Greatland Gold PLC (AIM:GGP, OTC:GRLGF) project at Havieron is big.

And we know that it’s likely to make someone a lot of money in the coming years, even if the gold price has been giving up a bit of ground lately.

But how big, and who?

Does anyone know/remember when the Newcrest Mining - Harmony Gold Mining J/V applied for a special mining lease? It was in August 2016!! It still hasn't been approved!!

Compare that with the Havieron Australian jurisdiction!

Generally the nominee account holder will notify you when there is a vote due on any of your holdings. That's certainly the case with mine, interactive investor, through the portfolio corporate actions & voting mailbox. You may have to opt in though.

IMHO, anything that, in some way at least, helps investors and potential investors understand the mining process, from concept to depletion, is useful, because I continue to be amazed at some people who are, yet are clueless about the very large amount of time involved.

Regarding our own Havieron project, you don't only have to believe me, that this has been, and will continue to be, built at breakneck speed! Sadly, some just don't get it!

Totally agree WF! As I also noted yesterday, I thought that it was an appalling article in it's content by Giulia Bottaro of Proactive and absolute nonsense about speculation being "rife" about a possible 100% takeover of GGP by Newcrest.

Maybe she would be better employed by Motley Fool?!

I agree Tymers, Havieron, OK, I've always thought that a possibility, but it's certainly not rife speculation for so,e time in itself, and certainly not, "Newcrest might go the whole hog and buy Greatland lock, stock and barrel."
