The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Anyone know the reason for the recent jump? can't see anything in the news or on other boards. Real Time 210/215. Still alarge spread but quite a jump from Monday.
Expecting to see a few price upgrades as we lead up to the results, I'm also expecting the results to be a little better than 'in line with expectations'. The business continues to grow at quite a fast pace.. I guess we'll see. 215-218 by end of Apr...225-230 mid May..
only down 0.3 of a %..not too bad..
Hey - need to release some funds - anyone have an inkling what this will do over the coming weeks? been gradually falling for a while now, why? will the budget mean a reverse in fortunes?
Hi guys - there have only been 10 trades all day, this is unusually low. It only takes one trade at the Ask price to make it appear as if there was a big jump in the value of the share. The Bid and Offer price can easily be manipulated by the market makers...As most people know on here, there was an offer on the company in Q3 last year.. it fell through, though it doest mean the company inst sound. In fact it has taken on some big customers since then
there are some big buys coming in....updating my rating to "Buy" :). Real time share price 192. Very active orderbook.
Nothing in the news and only small buys..if something major was happening we would see some large buys coming through. I suspect it's a case of "jump on the bandwagon and hope". Not to say that this share wont go up, I expect it will over the next few months leading up results day in May. Just be cautious with fast increase stocks and little news.
oh and my target is 275, then I'm out. Too much risk for me.
Is anyone expecting anything to happen this year? Results are out 06-Dec, everyone expects them to be good, so I guess the up or downward jump will depend on 'how good' they are...though without a buyer wont the price just remain static?
Hey - does anyone know why there are so many small trades on this stock? I dont see the point in buying 10 shares for example.. when you consider the spread and trading costs...
Seems to be bouncing off the 7.90 mark at the moment..
lots of ramping going on here.. what substantiates 20p.. in fact..its’ no falling. 7.45.
It's not just Aviva, it's the entire market. My only guess would be market unrest down to the uncertainty around Ukrain. Lets see what happens with the ECB QE...
any one know the reason for today's rise? not a huge jump, but I thought the ECB decision would have put a dampener on things...
Ex Div date today (02-Apr), record date (04-Apr).
So far so good..only just in profit mind - trading costs. Anyone hazard a guess 'up' 'or 'down' tomorrow? obviously the price will reduced by the 00.094 div, but will we see a large sell off? or time to get back in? I've got no idea..I must say...
Sold at £5.24, just after the Q results, now buying back in..Hope I dont regret this..
Does anyone have any idea what time the DTZ staff meeting was meant to go ahead today?
"Two brokers told Reuters they valued DTZ at about 45-50 pence per share, while the Daily Telegraph reported SGP was mulling a bid of about 60 pence, the latter valuing DTZ at about 160 million pounds ($255 million)." Anyone think there will be an offer of over 50p?
