A double ring in relity and an available beach = we would beach the vessel to save the crew.
In scapping vessels in India etc - the vessels are sent ashore in this fashion to be cut up for scrap / spares.

So = GLF mode for that carib sandy beach - with all those casks of...............

Year ago - I was working on the Great White Fleet ( GWF - chiquita baanas).
Many of the vessel were name as he clipper class 0From the days of the Tea clippers - Hong Kong / Shanghai / India). The fastest sailing vessels available.
All the GWF vessel ( as most reeefer vessels) had white hulls for reflecting UV / heat reasons.
Frequently at FAOP ( Full Away On Passage) the bridge would ( jokingly) double ring Full Ahead (Double ring is an emergency signal and requests the destruction of the engines if needed to save the vessel).
We refffered to this double ring as GLF mode for the main engine. GLF mode = Go Like F%%%

So perhaps this ought to be included in your speed range - bannana or what ????
Further - the 5 Islands are in the carib !!!!

Steam ship (Turbines) have made a massive come back.
Almost all the super LNG and LPG gas carriers are steam - they run the boilers on the liquid ""boli off"", in turn helps cool the cargo and super clean fuel for the bolers. Very low emmissions compared to diesels.
Problem with steamers is they are tall to accomodate the boliers (Turbines are small an compact in comparisson).
These large tankers have no access to cities / brdiges to pass under - so height no problem.

More than a few other bawdy songs..........

Dry dock meself tomorrow - MRI scan to ideentify a route for the 3rd pacemaker lectrical lead.
