The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
As a shareholder I can not predict how the SP WILL affected by any RNS or release of info. But what I do want is my company to release progressive info , data , MRE , DFS , DTM , JV,s , mergers, borrowing etc. they all have a cumulative effect on the SP.
Tig
Bamps , I can only refer you to Culpeppers post and SD,s statement confirming there will be one.
as for me , my logic tells me that one would not build a coal mine until you had a fair idea how much coal was in the ground
Apart from that it is an interesting measure of potential wealth and company prosperity. Why are you so anti when even SD is not
Tig
I hope this summary will be helpful to new and recent boarders.
GGP is still a tiddly PM exploration company with one seemingly very good discovery - Havieron in which it owns a 30% share in a JV with Newcrest . NCM are currently being taken over by Newmont.......Plus some other prospects with indications of success. It also has a JV with Rio.
An MRE was independently calculated and issued in March 2022, based on a data cut off date in November 2021. TWO YEARS AGO ???. MRE 5.5M ozs AU ( high grade ) plus 218 kt of CU. Brilliant news as it almost certainly secures Hav. as a potential mining development, with the Telfer processing facility just up the road..
There has been continuous drilling on and around Havieron since then , which ( reportedly ) has increased the size of Hav. significantly ( doubled ) in length , width , and depth. And still ongoing.
Apart from the normal hypothesisation of GGPs future development as a mining developer , possible seller , etc. etc. , GGP is still a small explorer with a great , mineable discovery , a little cash , potential financial backing , a BOD of notable reputation and presumably significat cost , and further other mining prospects. All that it does for the moment is explore , drill , and calculate its mre's. It is now two years on since its last published MRE , and one can only assume that it has already produced a second independent MRE , in order for it to enter discussions with Newcrest / Rio . Newmont, and others who may be sniffing around.
That MRE is now published knowledge and should be released to the GGP shareholders . It is not secret info that cannot be divulged , or that will affect any inter company negotiations if it is released . It is in effect a routine report on the routine progress of the only principal activity that GGP undertakes.
Two years of unreported progress will I am certain have made a considerable difference to the potential of Havieron , and I for one as a very long term shareholder would wish to be informed of that progress in an RNS. Town Hall socials may for some be enjoyable and conversational , but they are not informative.

I believe that , in Oz upside down terminology , it means that the period 1st October to 31st December , 2023, ( my birthday is on 30th so could be a very late surprise present to start my 2024 New Year off well. ) is the period referred to.
Or it could be in SD terms , any time in the 12 months up to December 2024.
Tig
It would not that difficult to translate between the lines of SD's answer and arrive at a totally different shade in what he is saying . A pretty typical nondescript fudge answer to a specifically constructed question. The same old story. And only two years since the last one.
Tig
The last / previous MRE report was Augus 2022 with a cut of date of november 2021 , - nearly 2 years ago
5.5 M ozs plus 218 CU kt.
Goodness knows how many tens / thousands of metres of drilling since then , but very, very significant.
We should be due an MRE update very shortly and about time too. 2 years is an overly large and unreasonable shareholder reporting gap. SD and BOD take note. I trust that we are in for some mind boggling figures.

Mineral Resource estimate update RNS 11/08/2023
Greatland notes the release of an ASX announcement titled "Annual Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves Statement - as at 30 June 2023" by Newcrest Mining Ltd (Newcrest) earlier today, which provided an annual statement of Newcrest's Resources and Reserves.
Greatland notes that this statement, so far as it relates to Havieron, only restates the previously released statement contained within the Havieron Mineral Resource estimate (MRE) from Newcrest's ASX announcement titled "Annual Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves Statement - as at 30 June 2022" dated 19 August 2022.
Over 80,000 metres of growth drilling has been completed at Havieron since Greatland announced the Havieron March 2022 MRE (refer to RNS announcement titled "Updated Mineral Resource substantially increases Havieron Resource and Reserve" dated 3 March 2022 for further information).
Drilling since Greatland's announcement of the Havieron March 2022 MRE has focused
§ Defining the extents of mineralisation in the lower levels of the SE Crescent (3,600 - 4,200mRL);
§ Resource definition within the lower levels of the mineralised system, with a focus on the Eastern Breccia; and
§ Extending the mineral system below the existing Resource.
The work programmes required to incorporate these drill results into an updated Havieron MRE are in progress, and Greatland expects an updated Havieron MRE to be completed in the December 2023 quarter.
@@@Tom e ..... ....There is one simple answer tostop you having a heart attack and that is just to GREEN BIN anyone who seriously upsets you.
Having been on this board for some years it is noticeable that many distinguished and knowledgeable posters no longer do so , --- or very rarely.
It also reduces the number of posters for you by 2 , as you no longer have to post an explosive response.
My own board must have 20 to 30 green sin binners , so opening as I do every day , I only see those that I wish to ( mostly ).
So take the sensible step .
Tig
My dear Bamps ...... just a couple of corrections.....
1. When I state that others on the board support my views , I can only judge by the up ticks, and that along with several posts ( apart from fred Dobbs ) expressing support for the view that GGP should provide its shareholders with an MRE and ???. So my comment is certainly more true than false.
2. I have no anger, and never have had, towards the company , or individuals , that I am certain will in short time be hugely successful. That is why I retain my shareholding. But I also have freely held views \ opinions ( well supported ) on GGPs provision of data, progress , etc. etc., and will continue to hold those views until some things change. That is not anger.
I have huge admiration for your own erudite contributions to this board , and have not and never will attempt to change any of your thinking. You and I have been around for quite a long time , and I believe that I contributed a lot in the early days of the much admired and popular Stag gang, and others like The Doors have continued and developed that quite unique company shareholder support. But times and people have changed .
My very good wishes to you
Tig
,
.y dear speedy........ you know me well enough to know that i generally do not indulge in ****ging off posters. i believe in courteous debate. but there are some appalling clowns who only see fit to spew vitriol and sas is one of them
Spades a Spade It is time that you learnt that someone expressing a viewpoint on this board is not moaning. Just because you choose to have a differing opinion is not opening a door for you to spew your vitriol ( as you frequently seem to do ), and nor does it make you right. This board needs less types of your ilk when it would be a much more pleasant environment . Shame you do not have anything intelligent to contribute.
Nor am I venting criticism at any one person ,- my criticism is of company policy. So get your facts right. And though I speak only for myself , I am also aware of a large number of posters who agree with my general sentiments .
So, get a life.

Poniexpress
I have been waiting 11 years for something to happen , and as an octogenarian I would like something to happen soon , so you must forgive me if you detect my concerns as impatience. Most of the profits will go to the grandcchildren but I do not want to depart this world before I hand it over. So I do need SD and the BOD to read their side of the hymn sheet and to treat their shareholders properly. Newmont and Newcrest are lower down the order of priority.
You sound like a gentleman to me, so if you re ever down Hampshire way, I will buy you a pint.
Tig
My Dear MHO1 .........I was very fortunate that in my youthful days ( now very long past ) I attended the most excellent of schools that amongst many other constructive activities provided , was a splendid debating society in which one learnt to say anything one wanted on the subject of the day. One could be as kind and agreeable , as supportive or as critical , or as cynical and destructive as one wished , providing one had learned the right way to say it . Half of this board would never have been allowed through the door.
The school also taught one to write and spell correctly.
Tig
MHO1 You misrepresent my views . I have never criticised the graft and hard work the BOD put in, and the targets that they set themselves.
I endlessly repeat though that there are things that the BOD could and should do, principally that they should publish and release data / facts / information which is already established and known in the market to the shareholders . Top of that list would be drill results ( some of which are published ) , and more importantly an MRE. That is all that I have ever requested, and I would guess ( and only that ) that the majority of this board would support that. I want to know that now that this information exists , if is as expected , that my investment ( and that of all other shareholders ) is soundly underwritten and safe. When I bought in 11 years ago I was taking huge risk. I want that risk mitigated. I am not as you may be suggesting in destructive pursuit of SD . But I am critical of GGP's reluctance to release it.
It would be appreciated if you were able to understand this quite evident comprehension of the current state of things , and where I stand.
Tig
My dear Pony Express ......... I can only sadly conclude that you must have had an unhappy childhood and never learnt that other educated , knowledgeable , and literate people in the world have different views from your poor self, and that you are unable to conduct yourself with any dignity and decorum. My very best wishes for the future and a quick recovery.
