Pure guesswork MT, my target on INFA was only there because I had heard Doc some time ago mentioning it coming back to 40 at some stage, so it seemed a sensible resting place, and the 25 entry was a no brainer with funding sorted. I find it useful at the gutter end of AIM to make use of various knowledgeable advice where I feel it's worth a shot and I know the share quite well, I did the same with Doc at PREM from 27 to 40 in October - I was in like a shot when I heard when and why he had bought (short term only), I don't follow many of his calls but I might do if I feel the same way and it's a share I know quite well, most of my longer term shares are not of that ilk and are personally researched. So in the case of INFA I had dual advice, Cam to thank for giving the original advice of FEED funding when sorted and Doc calling 40 ages ago, otherwise it's a share I wouldn't have even known about. Saying that, INFA is looking quite strong, and I'm looking for more thoughts on the next step - where are you Cam ? Happy hols everyone !
Nogog, that speaker Anton Kreil is one of the 'teachers' on the Million Dollar Traders series which is a fascinating watch I can recommend viewing. Link to the first episode here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6ciY8u04Kk
True, thanks MT, tbh I tend to copy a previous line down and frig that every time I'm adding a new entry, I have other column entries and formulas to the right of what I issued so it makes sense for me to copy and insert an associated line
BB, as MT did you might be able to download the transactions from your broker to a spreadsheet and frig them into a format adapted to my s/sheet and then copy or insert them across. I've not tried personally but I'm sure it's likely and a darn sight easier than typing them all individually from scratch if you've got that many. I see my broker HL only only goes back historically 12 months, which wouldn't be much use for me from scratch
Balman, sent, I'll send all the invoices later :) make sure you read the notes within the spreadsheet, it obviously needs a degree of work to populate it with your own transactions to begin with but as MT says you might be able to download your own transactions into the appropriate format to assist
