To be fair it was the reaction I was half expecting IF the Special Dividend was imminent. But at the moment it isn’t, so I think today’s drop is well overdone.
It’ll come back. Was trading this quite regularly a while back, but it kinda fell off a cliff. Seems it never got it’s rerating to the up. I’m happy to hold. Has a good dividend and there’s always a possibility it might be snapped up.
Thanks for that.
Why add caveats to a projection and then remove the original post? Almost like you're admitting you were wrong. Which you were.
If you’re U.K. based, you can’t, unless you’re buying on other stock exchanges.
On the contrary. The Covid vaccine has MASSIVE future potential for AZN. This isn’t a one shot and over vaccine. This is something that you, me will be receiving probably for years to come. Once the pandemic is declared over, AZN is perfectly within its right to reprice its’ vaccine. Even if it’s only by a couple of dollars, think of the potential income. And it’ll still be A LOT cheaper than any other of the vaccines on the market.
Major consideration for future price direction.
AstraZeneca, which has promised not to profit from its Covid-19 vaccine “during the pandemic”, has the right to declare an end to the pandemic as soon as July 2021, according to an agreement with a manufacturer.
Think you knocked the nail on the head with the dirty saudi wealth fund. I dislike them so much I can’t even afford them a capital ‘S’. The country kills the oil market, buys cart loads of shares at dirt cheap prices of all the majors and the rest of the world just stands by. They’re controlling the price here and all through the other majors.
