Agreed Whizz, the fundraise afforded us the opportunity to start the TL Scope of work and take back control, very annoying and another negative for market confidence.

Another issue for anyone waitng for a lift in the SP in order to get out is that any upside will be sold into due to the false hopes we've had many, many times.
Only a 10MW PPA award will give us the SP lift IMO..

I've just been looking at a pilot Green Hydrogen plant in Dubai run by Siemens and Dewar, the first in the Middle East.

It pulls 20.5kg of Hydrogen an hour using 1.25MW of power using solar, that's enough to fill nearly 100 cars a day..!
I feel so underwhelmed, this isn't what I signed up for.
Oh well, back in the bottom drawer..!

This is very hyperthetical but my fag packet calcs come up with an annual profit of £15.75m if all values remained the same as todays prices.

The part Indo ownership is the sticking point for me Tardis.

The only thing that matters IMO is the 10MW PPA award.
If we get that then I believe it unlocks the finance.
The question is do the BG want too much of the pie or to have a handle on every bit of electricity TLOU can produce?
Who knows, but for a country wanting not only to support but fast-track CBM then the situation looks very shaky at best..!
My confidence is waning quite frankly..!

Brad what if the 2MW interim PPA was just to appease TLOU and it's shareholders and was nothing more than a show of comittment from the BG and that we need the $10 to support the 2MW plus another 8MW for phase 1..?
We recently raised £2.65m and should have boots on the ground for the TL scope, we've had Mott complete their scope and selected the teams to complete the TL scope so why hasn't that happened..? After all it gives us back control so TLOU stated.
Some might think that there's no point in starting the TL scope if the full 10MW PPA isn't forthcoming.
Maybe it's to save the money in case Orapa does become plan A.
The problem is we are now involved in every power source yet not actually involved in any..!
Like I say, so many questions yet no solid answers.

We need some funding for sure but I don't think that will happen without the 10MW PPA.
So many questions and so little detail....

The impression I get from the interview is that we have been mucked about with the PPA and I'd suggest that finance terms would be far favourable if a PPA was in place. As Ive said before the PPA unlocks eveything IMO.
It appears we can produce hydrogen from gas with the approvals already in place (but not solar due to more approvals required)
Obviously the PPA is still up in the air although the company is very confident of the award. I would have thought it would be a relatively easy piece of work and has taken way too long. Does the BG just want too much of the pie..?

I sent an email stating that we appear to have lost our focus and that It would be nice to see boots on the ground, PPA and finance and that surely we need to be pumping gas before we start looking at hydrogen which in my view is a distraction at this point in time.
The reply stated that grid connection is still very much plan A and that Orapa is still in the running.

Like you say it's great to see some sensible, well reasoned and educating posts and not just throw away comments and sillyness.
You have highlighted a few things that I need to do some more work on, every day's a school day is it not.
This sort of detail is what I was hoping to tease out.

Not sure if that's directed at my SB but my point is he is working on more than one interest and so may not be putting all his effort into this project.
