Agreed Brad, most of us have been here for a number of years and we've had some disappointments along the way but give them time.
If they get the funding on good terms the outlook is bright, they haven't failed yet, keep the faith.
Hi Ttl1, ive wrote it off now unfortunately, I've bought over about 7 years and the SP and performance has just got worse since early 2021.
I get the feeling PI's are now thinking "If we go down then so does the charlatan"
We need a minor miracle now IMO....
"The adjournment has been called to enable the Company to engage with shareholders"
He can engage all he likes, nobody trusts him, he has zero integrity and I think it's beyond all hope sadly.
He is only interested in inflating his ego and lining his own pockets IMO.
This company had such promise 5 or so years ago and he has made bad decisions time and time again, single handedly sending it down the chute....
Great post AndreK, I unfortunately still have shares in AIM but will never do it again.
As you say, you think you have it all boxed off with research like, proven management, done it before, desperate need for the product blah blah blah and still something crops up.
Like you no more rainbow chasing for me AIM is just a badly regulated joke.
I was led to believe that Aim didn't allow another placing within a 12 month window and the last was the 12th May 23 so a few weeks off yet if it's true.
I can't see them trying ASX and BSE again so soon either tbh.
I hope it's a rise based on some positive current talks but time will tell.
Trolleyman, he's right in what he says and a couple of grand "punted" would knock 3p off your average which puts you in a much stronger position, however only you can make the call as to whether it's worth another £2k of your hard earned.
It's turned into an absolute punt from here, as a long term holder I'm praying for a miracle and to somehow come away "evens" but that remains to be seen.
There'll be no more rainbow chasing for me once this debacle is over..!
The BoD cannot be trusted and neither can your fellow man it would appear, good luck in your choice.
You were spouting the same a year ago when the sp was circa 1.4p, you're just trying to get people on board as you are trading the share and just looking for a nice profit. You do it on every share you comment on with bold one liners, oh and if this hit's 0.8p you will be gone in a flash.
This is obviously just one condition of Jamaica granting an extension.
Be careful of the silly talk on here people, some of these posters are serial offenders....
Some of the historical concerns I've had with this company/BoD not that it matters much now....
Directors forward selling warrants.
Directors Salaries shown in different currencies, to hide the fact of a large salary increase IMO
RKH shares acquisition, who bought into this all bought below the 3% threshold so we were non the wiser into who they actually were.
UOG lists back to AIM at the start of 2019 the reason was "cost and administrative savings for the Company” mmm you have to wonder if it wasn't for looser regulatory control.
Anyway the only escape for LTH's is if a company does come in to partner sh*t show otherwise it's all over.
The business is led by an experienced management team with a strong track record of growing full cycle businesses, partnered with established industry players and is well positioned to deliver future growth through portfolio optimisation and targeted acquisitions.
For one so inept the guys got balls of brass....
Winni, another piece from my reply,
We would prefer supply BPC directly and Orapa can buy from the grid. It would be much easier for us to supply electricity into the grid with the metering point at our Lesedi (or Mamba) field rather than building a gas pipeline and possibly having to maintain it.
You know jack sh*t hot shot.
There is currently no interest from tlou to supply gas to Orapa, what part of that do you not get you repugnant creep, stop typing what you think is right.
They plan on supplying to the grid and selling directly to the BPC who will in turn sell to Orapa directly.
I thought you were on a sabbatical, oh and you're filtered btw.
Hiya Winni, Orapa certainly isn't off the table but it's one for tomorrow so to speak.
This is an excerpt of a response i received a few months ago when I asked about Orapa;
To supply 90MW into the grid would need another power line. BPC power is centralised around Morupule but they would like to balance this by sending power to the north. Therefore a 220kV transmission line to Letlhakane (where a substation already exists) would work well to balance the grid and feed Orapa"
I was laughed at by the Far Superior Being when I posted this which was no surprise. It may not happen BUT the intent is there, it's clear IMO that we can sell as much electricity we can produce.
I said why can't the gas come from Mamba which is geographically placed further north and nearer Letlhakane, again laughed at and mocked by the Great One.
Agree Winni, doesn't do it for me if I'm honest.
As you say 1% Progress on the substations since December and the line "The Company remains committed to delivering electricity into the grid at the earliest opportunity" doesn't impress me much at all, does this indicate it may not be in 2024? Is funding becoming an issue, I hope not.
