Morning Winni, I think the 2mw has been superceded with the Docs support. Obviously we need to get to 2mw before hitting 10mw but the plan now I feel is straight to 10mw and expansion to 25mw asap from there.
An excerpt from the quarterly report quotes this
"Work has advanced on a purpose-built operations facility for the initial 10MW development and to allow for project expansion thereafter"
Since Nov 22 we've had - 4th Nov - $2m Placement, 11th Nov - $3m Placement, 15th Dec - $3m Placement, 27th Mar - $200k Placement, 2nd May - $2m Loan, 12 May - $10,65m Entitlement Offer. (Circa $22m)
In addition we received $5m off the BPOPF have they also have agreement for another $5m on equity which I'm expecting them to take up, so I'm guessing/hoping that this may be the final time and growth comes from profit going forward. ($10m)
HB2, totally agree with that.
I won't be taking up the offer as it does nothing for my average and I have a great deal of skin in this company already but I do see it as a positive in terms of the company progressing.
Hopefully, once this raise is complete we will see some positive movement in the SP.
Good luck all
If it is a conscious decision Winni (which I agree it is) then the poor SP only benefits the Dr and potentially the BPOPF as far as I can see.
If that is the case then it's very annoying so I don't want to think that, but I can't see any positives in a low SP apart from a buy back which obviously isn't going to happen.
Yeah fair points, I was hoping for more progress on the TL work and maybe more detail on the drilling.
Also I'd still like to see the Project promoted more with photos, presentations etc but maybe that's just maybe being impatient.
That said I feel us long time shareholders have had the patience of saints, seeing many others get bored with the story.
Mmm, left me feeling a little flat if I'm honest, I expected more progress and I'm expecting the good doctor to get another batch of shares at a favourable price.
Although Orapa was a long shot realistically I still thought we would have been in the running and hopefully are further downstream.
I will have to have another read of the RNS and digest it a bit more.
Hi Singhie, I'm assuming that the extension of the Maria discovery is to just tie up loose ends.
IF the sale is completed in less than 3 weeks time as detailed then the buyback can be put to shareholders in June's AGM.
So based on the dates everything looks aligned, well let's hope so, we've not got too long to find out.
Hi GH, totally agree, 100% and I'm still baffled at the SP/MC but I think you stated that the wet knickered PI has little influence over the SP here, I still believe they do but we need II involvement (apologies if I have that statement wrong).
I was therefore disappointed to see the Newland's recently reducing which may have no bearing on the company's potential and something personal to them I will add.
I've been confused since I bought in 6 years ago as to why this isn't moving up.
I've absolutely no idea what the catalyst to get this moving North is, hopefully it's the next well being positive but as you know when we receive good news it's generally met with some scepticism.
There were 3 things a while back that made me question the integrity of the BOD but that's all water under the bridge now or do people not forget?
I pretty much agree with all that's been written here, the reduction in salaries for the BOD was a big statement for me as are the groups of investors who now want to be involved.
The "Sophisticated Investor" raise was very disappointing and so is the SP but I still believe this will come good and we little PI's will be dragged along and gain some profit along the way.
Thanks Winni.
Smallfish, I don't think any of that is true tbf mate.
I think it was a really poor move by the company and it's ****ed me off, but they believe there could be more financial support for the company going forward from this group. I'll give them the benefit of doubt this time but will change my outlook on them should it happen again.
We already have a good deal of funding and I sincerely think there is more to come from the Doctor and the Pension fund so I don't class it like Sirius. However I also expect the Doc and BPOPF to pay a reasonable price going forward but that remains to be seen.
I'm just hoping we can get some positive drill news soon and we can push on from this ridiculous SP
Just my opinion mate.
