And remember that the allowance is on PROFIT not on the total sale price... Profit being the profit on the tranche that you sell as opposed to thinking you're selling off what you see as profit
sorry if this is teaching grandma to suck eggs ;-)
Managed to get a small top up, had to drop trade to £900 to get a quote

I think that's a share incentive scheme buy
we can only assume that the trading information we see on LSE or any other platform is correct? There have been countless people including myself who have seen buys go through as sells and vice versa... I dont have level 2 access at the moment so can only bow down to those that do and apparently the MM's were short of shares... therefore someone is buying them?? I'm stating what I see as logic but accept that we all have different perspectives... that's the beauty of sharing thoughts
also logically, the 1% being offloaded daily is being bought up quite clearly as the MM's appear to be looking for stock from what I can gather from those with level 2 so surely the price has to rise as long as people continue to buy the offloaded amounts?
well, I'm back in with a smaller sum, and will drop a bit more in later. I've slept on this one, and agree that today will be a little unpredictable, but there was a huge buy so someone else has significant belief. The take over news is still there and nothing on that front has changed.
I'm also popping some money into Scapa Holdings... it's near it's lowest ever price (now circa £1) and broker ratings suggest £1.50. It's very much been under the radar and needs some trades. Take a look and as always DYOR
Hellyeah - I'm all for little and often profits, although typically I hold long on value stock. This was a bit of a punt for me tbh, and am kicking myself I didn't cut and run with the 50% gain I showed at one point but hey that's life! Unfortunately got distracted with too many other things.
I'm out and made a small profit... phew
However, think about why we bought... has that gone away? Is it just a matter now of waiting when to get back in? For me, that's a possibility and getting in below my last entry price is appealing. We just have to get this big seller out of the way and I think people will feel more inclined to invest thus pushing the price back up.
Wait until tomorrow and see what the price does but as someone else said on here... have a clear exit point to make your money. I think this could be a volatile little thing and even tougher as getting a trade through is a headache!
Never say never average down! good money after bad, yes avoid that, but there are many companies that have had SP's slashed due to a very rare occurrence and a lowering of sentiment and many of those we may have held in January / February... if you believed in it then, why would you not buy cheaper now??
Well done... and GLA
Jeez! got in late on this one at 12p... fast money being made here, not sure I can hold the excitement for next week... beer and take away time me thinks, but no champers quite yet!
MM's can build up stock if they wish in order to fill anticipated demand and of course make a profit themselves as the price get's pumped. They don't have to balance the books straight away I believe... I'm sure there will be time limits but unsure of the rules on that
It was the same yesterday, and while there are high sell volumes the price is holding strong.
shares not allocated yet, I think it's due 6th July??
I also see this at 15p but have been nervous about the fact that once issued, many may try and take a quick buck, which may well see downward pressure on the price... longer term I agree is still fine
surely with the 5p issue we will see the price pull back? Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to see the price rising today as I bought back in seeing a very likely increase overnight.
sadly not that low but bought at 6.35 and sold at 8.04 so a nice 26%
I sold just after the entitlement also and am taking up my full allotment at 110.
My view is that this share saw a pretty rapid climb, which I have benefited from and believe it can go there again. It may take a bit longer this time but nevertheless I think it's in recovery. I also concluded that the price currently seems to have settled leaving a good margin above the placing. I am sure we will see lots of selling intially but that's fine... I think I shall hold on to these
lol... I feel your pain!
I was wondering what's going on... if the info on here is to be believed the sales are massive compared to purchases yet the price has been pumped up and I can't get a quote to sell for love nor money
