Regarding News - can anyone tell me when Q2, this quarter, is supposed to end? As we are expecting a couple of big announcements this quarter (as per RNS) and I'd like to know how long they have until this time elapses. I suppose we will get some sort of update in the general meeting early June too. However, from a communication perspective, if they are not going to hit the deadlines outlined then they need to keep momentum / investors informed. I'm holding regardless but I want to see good communication from the board.

Zag let me tell you amigo - it is not easy to day trade on this, unless your broker is **** hot. Your buy is always higher (meeting BID) and your sell is always lower. So while a 5 or 6 or 10% swing might look a lot in a day. In something like this, it really isn't - very difficult for a PI to play games over the MMs. Which I why IMHO, if you get a good price with something like this - sit back, enjoy it and let the upcoming news take care of the rest. To add to the below - i've just found on Halifax I can buy another bunch at 0.273 for 2.6k so I swiped them. i'll be clear, that isn't a boast it's making the point that I'm surprised I'm able to get these at that price with a GOI / JV news so close when we also consider the low market cap. It's a bloody gem this. ATB.

That is interesting. Arguably the strongest position we've been in? I guess you Stalwarts would better debate that point. Either way, we're in a very positive position Jasper and I certainly won't be giving my shares away anytime soon.

@toptuf - no worries mate. This next bit is a cliché of course but Peter Lynch always said one of his biggest gripes in Wall Street was that people would invest based purely on what others would say. He said - sure take other advice / opinions into account but invest based on your own decisions, instincts and research. It's something I strongly agree with and you can't put the finger then if it goes wrong. But again, with this I'll gladly reiterate my opinion again that I believe it's awoken now the dispute is settled and we are on to something good in Cambay. Indonesia looking promising too. ATB.

Fair comments regarding timescales slipping, but treat the delays within their own context. Delays involving a legal dispute are always likely to be more troublesome and outcomes inevitably get extended. However, now with that dispute reportedly behind us, barring Covid recovery and the effect that could have on administrating approvals etc, we should expect a much clearer path. I'm hopeful of positive announcements soon.

You said yourself that the agreed purchase price of 2.2m for Oilex to have full control of Cambay (pre JV) is a bargain basement fee. So, my question is now that this has awoken and this dispute with GSPC is almost resolved with seemingly exciting times ahead - what is holding you back? I see minimal downside here.
