Anyone any idea why Solid has not been so solid recently?
The technology here is probably beyond most analysts. Also I recall (subject to validation) that there is some kind of 3 year lock that stops them being acquired. Perhaps someone can shed light on this... My view is ONT is long term, and could very well be a key player in the sector. There device was used in the Royal Institution Xmas lectures 2021 on BBC, but few folks clocked it.
I have held Treatt for a long time, and have a considerable overweight holding, only on par with Tesla, ITM, AFC, Nvidia...I keep thinking of trimming down a little, but then Treatt treats me to more value every time...
Following on reading the Times Tempus article it made me question is Treatt a tech company that covers food chain, hygiene, and more? In which case one may find it easier to justify its higher PE ratio.. Can it double again in the next year?
Yes Treatt was recommended by Josephine Moulds in the weekly Tempus , Ethical Investing article. She also mentioned Corbion as part of the battle against food waste and climate change, interesting article. Treatt benefits from the healthier living products. We do seem to be at a high though, however it does almost seem too good to be true, that a British Company does so well, for so long, without being snapped up by a foreign monster. Let's hope Treat carry on onwards, upwards, and stay British.
I thought the same initially, but have bought some of the L&G Hydrogen ETF. Toyota and Daimler there for what may be good reason.. they are both doing Hydrogen.. Its got some good diversification including Doosan Fuel cell... BTW.. does anyone know how Doosan came to do fuel cells? Did they get them from our UK Bab****? ie Doosan Bab****... If so that would have been a terrible move by Bab**** to have sold the crown jewels..
Firstly I had problems with the app, so installed it on my iphone and it seemed to work better. I still hit issues where the interface is so poorly designed. you have to complete every field carefully.
Does anyone know whether ticking I am an existing shareholder will make a difference?
I also watch Stock Mo. He does have some sensible stuff to say, although very USA centric, with China EV bias. I have messaged him about our UK hydrogen stocks, and will remind him again. Its probably good to give him feedback so he considers little old UK Hydrogen stocks too..
I am up over 1000% so tempted to hold now, although slightly tempted to buy if there is a drop.. What a fantastic company, and fantastic leadership. Watching Andy Marsh on Youtube gives me even more confidence in Plug .
Yes good to see Ian Cowie mentioning ITM. Some interesting comments too. For many of us ITM could be our largest holdings too... It’s tough to know when to rebalance. With the recent move on Plug Power it makes me want to hold people ven buy more ITM and other hydrogen.
It would not seem too much of a surprise if there was a merger /buy out of ITM. However did Shell not already have a chance? Linde own 20%. I just hope that ITM stays British, but can't help but think that they get taken over by one of the big USA Oil companies. As ITM have raised more captital, they seemed to have proven that they can raise, more, perhaps they should raise way more capital, scale up and go for gig factories and focus on a market such as material handling like Plug Power has done.
