Spoke to a contact today who has done loads of hook up.
I asked if he had ever seen a rope broke no loads of chain from back in the day but no rope.
The cut off point is normally 3 meters for hook up
The rope has a bit of give unlike chain the rope is over 1 foot in diamater
There’s no week link any more they don’t want snap
Everything is over engineered so it won’t break or at least should be
I asked what he thought was wrong he thinks someone has missed something
Anyone can say it’s going up or down but they never I did say it
Quite a few of the posters with thousands of posts wouldn’t so they knew what was going on
Or never knew there arse from there elbow
I will do what I want I can predict what I want

Wasn’t at u long wait but those who posted last night where r u now....
PS Drill
If you had half a brain cell you would have sold when the rope broke sorry you couldn’t see it coming
Don’t get bitter drill just cos u lost out not selling I did say to sell keep reading I was right last week right this week and we will see what happens next week.
But remember where you herd it first.

Thanks if only every dog has there day mine has just begun.
This will sink tomorrow especially at closing time the folks who held on reading the bull on this forum. Will be thinking should I sell how low can this go.
Truth be told it will be another long week. This share will come good but in the short time I am expecting to see a drop every day for at least a week.
The street
Where are you now?
Yesterday it was all the word on the street...
The word is I was right and you were wrong.
I cant believe the so called experts never knew this would fall I am dumbfounded with your share dealing or lack off.
Like I said you don't know your arse from your elbow.
The street
Well I did predict a big loss even though I was laughed at your not laughing now I see. Like I said it would be a long week and again I’m right. Streets ahead remember where you herd it first
The street
I said 10-20% drop when the rope broke I was told I was well off the mark im not that far away now....Remember where you heard it first.

This is a new week but Friday is a great day for shares to loose at the end of the week cant wait:)
We have now came into the 44p range it will be difficult to break out of this without positive news. I will wait no panic to buy back with nothing happening until the end of the month no need to rush. Glad I sold and yes I think we will breach 44p.Good luck to the long term holders

There could be a load of problems when they introduce hydrocarbons into the system as on lots of other hook ups. The FPF1 was 7 months before it saw FoIL and the Western Isles wasn’t much better to be fair one build in Poland and the other in China. Let’s hope we do t have the same amount off troubles and we still haven’t hooked up yet and still no date for the rope.....
Could the first investigation have found the root cause? I would think the invetigaon this time will be longer to find the real root cause. Change procedures implement changes and possibly re engineering of the lifting bridal it could be as simple as putting better protection on the eye to stop chaffing? Or a lot more complex ...
Nobody knows of a firm date for the rope yet it could take a long time. Just imagine they make a rope which takes a month not sure if this is the right length of time just a estimate. The rope will need to be load tested lest hope it passes the test and QC .....
When we had a weather delay the price sank? With a rope delay it should be the same and we will have the weather delay once we finally get a rope and after the root cause has been confirmed all I can see is a big delay tell me if I am wrong??
The regulations might come under SOLAS until AM looses her flag. But then again it might still be LOLER.....

I would class this as a bal$$ up 6.5% off the share price. Also the costs involved with all the ships crews choppers investigations. Not something I would be proud of but each to their own. The most important part is no one was hurt I do agree with you in that.
The clock is ticking and still nobody has a confirmation of a date for a rope then we need another weather window which it looks like we are about to miss??
My post wasn’t clear enough I should have asked has anyone any knowledge of a turret hook up in the U.K. that the rope snapped even once?
Where do you see the share price going until we get another replacement rope?

They will need to get to the root cause before another attempt IMHO. There’s no point trying and the same can happen again if they don’t find the problem. Investigations can be lenthy they won’t want to risk anything or anyone getting damaged. I can’t ever recall anything going wrong at the latching on stage like this??
With a high profile drop like this the investigation may be an HSE investigation it should be HSE reportable Or any investigation would have to be done by a third party happening twice there could be an easy reason. Or it could be they missed something in the design stages. If they break a third rope we have serious problems and we’re up a creek without a paddle.
