I mean..look at Phoenix. Not an oil company...but Jeez, someone just buy them already.

I keep wondering the same about Barclays, Phoenix, Standard Life and Pennon too. Cash cows. Weird companies dont just buy others all the time.

I suppose buying GKP for $10 a share would be a big deal. I can't imagine why the Kurds won't just let any old oil company run Shaikan.

Oilman, even you can get back in profit. No one is saying things went well before...this was a fledgling oil company that hit lucky and was in way over it's head.

From a good base at 100p, there is absolutely no reason why all holders can't trade themselves out of a losing position on this stock. I have invested in stocks which just went plop...no chance of recovery.

There is a chance here, it's in everyone's own hands to get themselves out of the situation. I have a leveraged position, and continue to buy. I am very close to where I started...and will easily clear that and some.

It's life...stuff happens, people lose money, people die, people get ill, companies screw up. Going over and over the past is like self-mutilation. Keep opening the old scars and it will never get better.

Just try and see the positives. Failing that, put all your money in Fundsmith and walk away. That's easy money, zero stress. No one ever said trading a small-cap was easy, otherwise we'd all just buy a FTSE100 tracker.
