Downside is - Israel's retaliation to Iran - will be hard and brutal and probably in the next 3-5 days so oil spikes again.

The daily chart shows that the EZJ stock price has done well in the past few weeks. It has soared from the August low of 404.7 to 525p.

The stock has moved above the 50-day and 200-day Exponential Moving Averages (EMA), and the 38.2% Fibonacci Retracement point.

It recently formed a golden cross pattern as the 50-day and 200-day EMAs crossed each other. Therefore, the stock will likely continue rising as bulls target the year-to-date high of 592.2p, its highest point in April. This price implies a 12.70% jump from the current level.

Per thus conversation, the EZY fundamentals are solid as we know it - but there seem to always be forces at work to keep the price contained and I know not why. In the US this stock would have been soaring (which is why there's some demand to list there). Truth is we would have been much hire but for recent global events. Even that is a misnomer because the only concern to EZY is oil price (still at considerable lows) and cancelled flights (nothing has really changed at all in that regard either). Yes they'll sound a cautionary note about macro politics etc but that's all par for the course. It really hasn't impacted the bottom line thus far and is unlikely to. And yet, market makers really manipulate this.

We have to hope the geo political climate stabilises beforehand. Oil is holding steady so let's wait and see. Barclays upgrade yesterday did nothing for the stock.

Buysellrepeat - Hamas did not exist in 1945. The Nazis just about dissipated then. And Jews throughout the world were then given a homeland - which was theirs before as well - as so endorsed by the UN. But many of your terrorist friends were not happy and so decided to wage war against tiny Israel. They lost. They tried again in 1956. They lost again. They tried in 1967 and lost again. Then in 1973 and beyond. I could keep going but you get the picture even if your hate blinds you to it.

If Hamas/Hezbollah put down their guns today, there would be peace. If Israel did, there would be no Israel. (Again, something you likley subscribe to, but it's never going to happen).

You could date the Hamas problem to when they took power in the early 2000s. They are a terrorist organisation - life was different before they assumed control. They are like Al Queida in Afghanistan or ISIS wherever else. They are a proscribed organisation and like Hezbollah, are responsible for many Western lives.

It's foolish to think this is just about Israel.

EasyJet share price pivots at 538.0 and will likely continue heading up as the momentum currently favours the buyers. The first hurdle could come at 542.8, but a stronger push by the buyers will break above that level to potentially test 546.2.

On the lower side, a move below 538.0 will signal bearish control. If that happens, the first support will likely be at 534.0. However, a stronger and prolonged bearish control will breach that support and render the upside narrative invalid. Also, the resulting momentum could extend the downside to test 529.8.

I'm big enough to admit (and also happy) that I was wrong. Thought it would be a lacklustre week. But then who would anticipate strong upgrades and a buoyant market.

At this point anyone's guess! Short covering and strength into lead up of statement.

At some point there'll be consolidation and profit taking but the big boys will hold for the medium to long term.

I think that we've finally seen the end of under 5 days - at least for the foreseeable future. Only some big war or another covid can derail us now.

I agree it's totally absurd to follow daily fluctuations unless you're a fay trader. EZJ seems to have picked up a few day traders and their the ones getting bounced around by market makers. If you're in this for real profit come back in March 2025 when we'll be 25-30 percent higher.

If you scroll through to midweek last week I called week's end drop but with support at 5.17.

With volatility in the Middle East heating up we can expect stagnant to lower again this week but we remain above 5 now.

Middle East notwithstanding and perhaps other economic factors that can bolster the FTSE we can see some upside to 5.27.

Either way a lacklustre week all things being equal. But sitting in a better place that previous.
