Nice comments NelsontheDog & Parkboy38, sounds like we are on the same page. we also cannot ignore big players like Goldman's and JP giving BTC such high price targets. I work with these guys and I can absolutely assure you they hire some of the smartest most astute people I have ever had the privilege of working with. they wouldn't give these estimates unless that had been ferociously analysed. just a personal opinion.
Hi all, I don't post often but do read with interest on a daily basis, my tuppence for what its worth is that Argo's world is (and will be for a while) a battle ground (this is why its volatile and presents opportunity for big returns) this battle ground is a significant fight for supremacy/market share/control between different crypto (which is flavour of the month), regulators, central banks oversight/ability to control, ESG/green mining (CSR - corp social responsibility) of course all of these factors are plastered in the media all the time which causes shock waves of uncertainty. In my mind if you believe in crypto (genuinely) and you think that it is truly the future, then Argo is the best place for a portion of your portfolio to sit. you have to expect the volatility that comes with it. the long term holders will be rewarded, if you manage to make a bit on the journey of ups and downs then great but I'm sure we are all here for the whole loaf not just the crumbs. Would be a shame to be that person in 3 years times that says "I used to have shares in Argo" after it climbs to seriously big heights. don't make the mistake of thinking the bad times are here to stay, just like the good times they come and go just as quickly.
look at the US price... its climbing fast. that will be a lovely morning for us tomorrow
took a few attempts and no chance of getting the 115 lowest drop haha the whole market is painful at the moment so time to buy some cheap shares, I did the same on another i hold that has plummeted. good times don't last forever but neither do the bad times... take the chance to turn the bad into the good now (be brave when others are fearful... we all know who said that)
lovely post and very well put!!!
true but BTC has dropped to sub 50 recently and back up to over 60 in fairly quick succession. the regulators and central banks just need to get to grips with how they can control cryto then its a winner. would easily reduce tax evasion so the incentives are there.
lol very true, the problem is i bought this stock at 80 while in hospital with my first born son... then i made a tonne!! so im now really emotionally attached to this stock ha ha. i feel like its divine intervention as it popped the day after my son was born. trying to detach the emotion and stick to usual methodology
ha ha balls deep! yes i am the same now, 5 rebuys gets me a bit overexposed now. wondering if there is a smart way to reduce my exposure slowly when it spikes up next? any tips? (i bought at 80, 170, 250, 305 (305 was when it had that big bang so got hungry for more on a dip from 340)
Hi All, just wanted to say thanks for all the messages, they have been very useful. also nice to have some brothers in arms as we ride the Argo waves. so far made quite a bit of money on this stock but got a bit over confident and bought loads at 260 (safe to say the last week has been a nail biter but good to see in on the way back up) i bought more at 150 (call it blind faith) so am not quite back to profit but recovered £7K in the last few days... getting there.
