Well sub 300p was my buy in price (actually it's an addition) but something is holding me back. Surely this must move up before the ex-dividend date end May I believe.

You're right there Mr dawsson, this so called "main market" behaves just like AIM stock sometimes. Somebody's making, and it ain't usually the private investor.

Blimey tintin its nearly reached your 6.5p base already today, not so much of a drift more a sprint. Quite how it's going to drift back up to 14p (against the current) remains to be seen. That's the way to do it googlebot, this share has presented so many opportunities over the years I've been involved, I've took advantage of some of them myself.

As this SP diminishes, every man and his dog has guessed the new bottom, the new support line, so one pound is as good a guess as all the others. It's a nice round number. Who knows a few weeks/months from now peeps might be posting on here.....If one pound holds we will ok if it closes under one pound the next support level is.......

Yeah, nothing happening here, clearly as the volumes show the Swedes are active investors, not like most of the LTH's who contribute here. The trouble is that now it has reached the Government there's no indication, no date for any sort of reply planned. The last time the Government were involved they certainly didn't rush themselves, and I don't expect anything in the near future. So in the meantime the SP will probably drift lower on lack of any expected news or deadlines. Next news date probably end February with SRK reporting their findings. The real game changer is obviously the Government's response and until, or if, there is any indication of an actual time when that will be, there is nothing to support the current SP. That's my opinion anyway.

Sometimes that's the trouble SUFCESSEX 'when times are bad you just hang on in there'. Most private investors find it difficult to take a loss, guilty of that myself but not all the time. I'm still comfortable with my investment here and have not ruled out adding more, but not yet.

Well I'm still aboard (just under 10k shares) still holding at least until final results and if I'm honest until ex-dividend. There has been much speculation here about how far this has to fall but nothing is forever, is it?

Yeah I must say about the 'jam tomorrow' and if I'm honest 2018 will not be Lloyds year either, but 2019 could be as Brexit should become clearer. The majority of my LLOY holdings are in a SIPP which, with the income, I regard as relatively safe barring any political upsets. I've found, for me anyway, it's getting difficult to trade lately to increase my holding and I'm reluctant to throw any more money at it (currently over 60% cash). Too many times in the past I've moved on too early, but hey each to his own, GL.

I expect some upward movement in the new year, towards the divi announcement in February (he says expectantly). If they drop from here I'll be adding, my last buy was @137p trouble is my average is 156p. That must still be a good price for a share with a dividend yield of 8.75% at today's price, which equates to over 7.5% at my average. The question is can CNA maintain the dividend? Littleaston if you keep reducing your LLOY's stake you never know I might end up with a larger holding than you, something I would have never thought possible!!! Just saying.

Sub 300p briefly, I'm looking to add more and now might be the right time prior to any 'santa rally' However M&S has been so volatile of late and is still being shorted aggressively, might be prudent to wait for a little more upwards stability. Still a decent income stock. GLA.

With the SP dropping faster than Italian supporters and ex divi coming up this could be heading for sub 300p.

Well I think everybody half expected this and the resulting fall in the SP (although nearly 30% on top of the recent falls seems a bit drastic). I see they have more trouble with the furnaces again. I thought we were led to believe the electrode paste issue had been resolved a couple of years back. Now they haven’t got the working capital to finish the Co-gen plant. In fact it seems all their energies are being centered towards actually surviving, that is staying under the current financing from the Bank of China. What’s more they are not confident of achieving that with talk of additional/other financing. It seems the one positive reported every year (and I don’t mean this in any way disrespectful) is the Health and Safety report of no fatalities to-date, if only the rest of the company was doing as well. It all hinges on an improvement in the ferrochrome price and IMO that won’t happen for a few years yet, not until the next cycle for raw materials begins, everyone’s suffering. Short term It sure don’t look good, and I’m beginning to wonder about the longer term for IFL. But saying that even with debt to service and re-negotiate, the FeCr price stagnating and the constant Eskom issues a market cap of under £8m appears oversold to me, just my opinion.

Good analogy AL75. We might know a bit more after the production report 23rd July, but I'm not holding my breath. Got a few bob tied up here (over £20K) it's been that long I hardly check the SP anymore. One day perhaps lol.

I believe I have posted something like this before, ‘’perhaps a new trading range is being established’’ The SP increase after the trading statement last week seems to be holding, but I fear that any significant gains are going to be much longer term. I hold quite a few of these, my last buy was 100k @ 6.15p, may add some more for the longer term. At some stage raw materials will be ‘flavour of the month’ again and when that happens IFL are in a good position to benefit. Some exploration companies are worth nearly as much, at least IFL are making money. GLA.

The only people who get in at the bottom (and out at the top for that matter) are the ones who declare after the event. There's plenty of them on these BB's. I'm sure this will prove to be a good entry price.

Just added another 100k @ 6.15p. Just think this is good value and a good price. Clearly IFL's recovery has begun. There can't be too much downside from here. GLA.
