“Astounding” said Shaun Day.
Looking forward to listening to any interview later
I read the Eastern side as the equivalent of an additional main line being laid out of Kings Cross to allow the Hav Express #2 train speed along in parallel to the existing line that Hav Express #1 is already rattling along.
Choo choo!
Hi all, it’s been a while but just wanted to share my thoughts on the weeks and months ahead FWIW. We seem to be in the grip of a general market gloom and some macroeconomic stuff that remains volatile. We have ongoing analysis about the NCM/ FMV question with more questions than answers and a SP that is disappointing. There is a sense that whatever good news GGP releases it will not fully be reflected in an uplift in SP, and then we have JPM working a short (admin- not my words, theirs). There is a period of months during which serious ly good progress will be announced by GGP and NCM.
My take is that we will remain suppressed but I hope I’m wrong about that. My plans to pack up work depend on the opposite being true, but I am managing my expectations again that we are not in normal times and that investing is not linear despite regular positive news from GGP.
However, we are a month in already to this year when so much progress is expected. The SP may remain sluggish even with good news, but don’t despair. And I could be wrong. Whatever some might say on this board about the projects incl Hav your decisions have to be based on the quiet conversation you have with yourself when you make time to think it through, or when you talk it through with your better half or pals.
It’s not yet time to release the special supply of expensive booze and plan the cruise. It’s time to keep a level head, take the knocks, and ride the punches. All the great achievements are hard earned and there is no ‘easy’ money any more. We are all in the school of hard knocks at the moment but we’re coming through the weirdest of times. GGP will do very well and with that we will have some good times financially.
It’s new to me just like it is to you probably and this uncertainty could do your head in if you listen to the casters of doubt. It’s time to batten down the hatches, remain optimistic and hopeful, ignore the short term bumps, and dream of soon-to-come happier times. ATB with your GGP investment.
@Paddy
And what folk should do is speak to their brokers or read up on the process re how they cast their vote in the event of any shareholder vote such as AGM resolutions or other one-offs. Not that we’re expecting anything, but we need to be better as individuals at mobilising when we need to. For example if you have a trading account, a SIPP, and an iSA you have to instruct your broker (as and when the time comes)three times. Well certainly with HL.
I know we are all busy but do ascertain what your broker needs whilst you are bathing in sherry over Christmas. Five minutes work.
While I’m here, my grateful thanks to Bamps and Paddy in particular for a year in which their generosity of info-sharing and detective work has just about maintained the altruistic standards of this board. Very much appreciated and do please support your local PaddyBamps Detective Agency.
One final thing - you’ve all been given a free gift for Christmas. It’s a filter button and it’s going to change your mental well-being for the best. I implore you to use it and turn the tide on the stream of liquid nonsense that occasionally, just occasionally, finds its way on to this board. Lol
Peace and love man. Peace and love.
Hitting the filter button again
I wonder if there is a maximum number of green boxes anyone can have...
Aaah, that’s better. A vitriol free board
PS no-one can hear you shouting from the green box so don’t waste any breath :)

@Hydro
Gosh, these guys are artful as that little bit of banter has been twisted so badly. For clarity’s sake Hydro was straight back at the time to dismiss any suggestion.
Look, FWIW this game of posting and keeping our close group tight shouldn’t be so hard. Let’s start again. Disruptors to be filtered, and I will hope any flippancy doesn’t get hijacked.
A great poster is our Bamps, one of the small number on here making it worthwhile and one of the most trusted.

@Bamps
I thought we’d covered that daft conversation off - as others have said a flippant comment which you came back on with good acknowledgment.
I hope it wasn’t any comment of mine and of course if it was please take an apology- it’s hopefully not, but messages can land with others in ways that weren’t intended.
If it was others then I’m sorry too that your esteemed place here is not being respected.
All the best fella
11 Nov 21 - 6pm - investor podcast
This is when a very nice man called Shaun will tell everyone who already knows (plus a few latecomers) that the party being held at the Juri nightclub will introduce a new dance called the Juri Jive. This is a later version of the Juri JV which was initially met with enthusiasm but petered out as the Havieron Hotstep became a craze. The Jive will send a tingle through the trouser area. Excitement and euphoria guaranteed. Shaun will show us all the steps but cannot speak the words so we will need to watch the body language closely and glean what we can, ready then to join the Juri Jive.
November 21
The Hav Club fights back when a jolly good sort called Sandeep brings out his latest hits “Now That’s What I Call Drilling #20” and the accompanying Hav Quickstep to bring the attention back to his music hall. This is a slightly delayed release because the nice people at the recording studio were a bit busy with other records that Shaun and Sandeep were producing, but it will be worth it as the Quickstep speeds up the heart rate and boosts the libido (more commonly referred to as the SP).
February 22
Shaun and Sandeep realise that they should re-release their back catalogue “Now That’s What I Call Drilling #1-19” as they are such a successful musical duo. Their choons are remixed and upgraded and reissued with all the bells and horns under “Hav - The Upgrade Album” to wild, frenzied interest. The new dance step, the “MRE2” is brought in to Strictly Come Prancing and becomes a West End show.
December 22
MRE2 was such a triumph that even this late in the year the success continues. ‘Shaundeep’ is the rebranded duo’s name and whilst they make spectacular, euphoric, extraordinary, world class dance music together, Shaun still makes music independently and generates great riches.
The End.
Or is it?
Sunday fun only. Timings might be wrong. Dance titles and record titles copyrighted. Global domination assured.
GLA
Agree Mickey.
The future is pretty secure
Whilst we wait for the uplift we know is due those who can will add
Those who are under water will recover
And even those coming on board later will see a very bright future
Don’t know about you but I can’t stop checking multiple times a day for the SP and the chat which is not healthy, so starting next week I’ll be checking 3 times a day max instead of 23

@Blindfaith
Not discussing shorting though, and referencing another poster doesn’t suggest I am an acolyte of said person or their. views
Just referencing Hydro as you have another poster for context.
Best we leave it there so as not to bore the board
Blindfaith
If that’s what you want to infer
Not what I said though
Suppression could come from techniques including laddering.
It’s a build up to news week and let’s all be mindful of traders (shortest weren’t mentioned)
