Someone with that unusual skill set could demand a reasonable amount i would imagine. All the more reason for believing that it is connected to an actual event ie import /export. What would HARL want to import from the States. Much more likely to be a defence export order in my opinion.

My view Kaeren is that if we were the sub contractor, then it would be the main contractor who would be responsible for this work. Unless , the main contractor was itself a US company.

It’s hard to make head or tail of Choppers post, but I assume it’s in retaliation to the recency published job vacancy at HARL requiring a very specific set of skills. The only logical conclusion I can come to , is that HARL have entered into contact negotiations with a US company. I don’t think that you would recruit such a specific person simply on the possibility of future work.
