There isn't a bid, just speculation of the possibility in the news...directors took part in the fundraise less than a week ago, they couldn't have done this if a bid was on the table

I agree West that sometimes the news can be leaked. However , i have seen a lot of leaks that have come to nothing. My questions are not about the authenticity of the news, only the strange behaviour of the BOD with regard to it.

I should also add, possibly denied. If a bid was made , then why did the BOD, give its thoughts on the matter. Especially after it had been brought to light. Did the shareholders not have right of action.
