I agree. Offers for IM will not have any effect on the SP unless they are formally posted. However, as the words came directly from John Woods mouth, in my opinion it gives us a better idea of IM true value to the company. That’s not at all what he said. He said that they are close to a couple of very Chunky contracts. For him to use the word Chunky, my guesstimate is 50m plus each. Contracts of that size will significantly shift the SP. I added again after hearing the podcast.

Unfortunately, looking at the lack of evidence of any offer, i suspect that you are correct.

The Precise notification of an Offer has nothing to DO WITH AN OFFER. It has to do do with news affecting the share Price. There is nothing substantive hear either , but general opinion rotates around the 5%. If an actual bid came in above 5% the the BOD should have notified the shareholders . Look at the price now.
